that have proven effective. They are different issues, and have different treatments. Just as you treat skin cancer than you would a tumor on the brain stem. Being trans is when one's gender identity is not aligned with the sex assigned at birth. GD is the distress that results

from that disconnect. We treat gender dysphoria through transition because it works. It helps alleviate that distress. But, again, not all issues have the same treatment. This is basic medical logic.
