Okay, so having done timelapse, it's a bitch and I applaud his efforts. That said... DUDE, what's with the 50% framing? We want to see the sky, not the damn rocks 8 inches from the camera. 😂

I'm not a Flat Earther but I like to play in their space, what if all the stars are not far away at all & all of that is still contained in the dome/firmament? Or what if the firmament was much larger than one thinks, maybe it has a bit of "space" in it.

No light pollution is amazing. We can technically see far away stars with our naked eye. It’s absolutely breathtaking.

I live in the deep South; US. I've seen the ribbon before. It doesn't translate well through a screen. The sky is lit and from one end to another, there is a band of stars and glowing dust. You feel small but realize that you are unique. You are alive and life is rare.

Applaud his intent but in a simulation this might be simulated to distract from the simulation. That's the problem of proving we are not a simulation.

C'mon ... what kind of camera/lens can pick up that detail in the sky? Can't even get that with small telescopes to see the Milky Way ... and the reflections in the water from those stars - give me a break.

The whole fiormament is rotating. If everything is random, flying rocks in all directions, you wouls see things crossing everythwere, it is rotating all at the same time, not earth.

Well ... it doesn't to be fair. To show the rotation of the earth instead put the camera on a star tracker, watch the stars stay still and the landscape (literally) appear to turn.
