Blimey! Those take me back to a time when a Vesta curry was the height of sophistication and Cadbury’s Smash was used instead of proper mash because spuds became so expensive. Also, electricity was only on 3 days per week. Ah, those were the days! 🤣

Izel toilet paper ..not so much a clean as a spread. I spent many school days holding in a number two because of this stuff.

Oh that dam steel bath,filled by a Ascot water heater, Sister bathed first then me,then her famous words I’ve weed in it.🤬🤬🤬🤬

Going out to collect the milk and the birds would hve pecked the foil away🙈🤣💜

Many fond memories, but definitely not the outside toilet especially in winter😄

Oh yes. Remember many of those. There isn’t a picture of a “Liberty bodice” with rubber buttons, but I remember them very clearly at this time of year !!!!

Loved seeing the bottled milk… it reminded me of my granny who looked after me and had a wee cup like an espresso cup to give me the ‘top’ of the milk to make me strong she said. 🙂
