@CarlHigbie Biden increased inflation, then drained strategic oil reserves for political gain: those are facts. Absolute stupid moves by worst prez in US history. Also an obvious fact, except to an absolute moron.

Oops! Total cumulative inflation in the United States since 2019 is approximately 26.72% as of late 2025. This means that $1 in 2019 has the equivalent purchasing power of about $1.27 today. Key Inflation Metrics (2019–2025) Inflation varies depending on the specific measurement used: Consumer Price Index (CPI): 26.72% total increase, averaging roughly 4.03% annually. Core Inflation: Excluding volatile food and energy, the cumulative total is approximately 24.27%. Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE): Often favored by the Federal Reserve, this measurement shows a lower cumulative increase of 21.77%. Chained CPI: Accounting for consumer adjustments in spending, this shows a 23.76% total increase.

@CarlHigbie And-what about the Covid pandemic???? Why are you not acknowledging the impact on our economy THAT had?? I’m tired of seeing all the “victims” of “covid-amnesia” I’m seeing, talking about the economy….pretending THAT it never happened.

@CarlHigbie Do not mention a worldwide pandemia. This was not a normal situation. Not mentioning this “minor issue” is disingenuous.

@CarlHigbie Didn't the midterm timeframe drop from depleting the strategic reserves coincide with the same point in time where FJB asked the saudis to pump more oil and they told him to kindly go fuck himself?

@CarlHigbie Beef was up 28% under Biden in 4 years, 7% per year. It is 20% up on the top of that in 1 year of Trump

@CarlHigbie Newsmax doesn’t understand how inflation works. Biden’s 9% happened bc of covid. Inflation doesn’t kick in at the same time as the virus. It hit every single country about a year later. The U.S. recovered faster than every other country in the G7. You can thank Biden for that.

@CarlHigbie Carl…Why don’t you mention the huge tax cuts in Trump’s 1st term that created tremendous fiscal stimulus (means inflationary). Also, Trump’s bungled Covid plan pumped hundreds of B$’s into the economy. You need to account for those lame brain moves. Now you have tariffs.

@CarlHigbie If it rose 22% during the Biden admin, why were the COLA adjustments a mere 3% or less each year?

@CarlHigbie Tarriffs prevented the economy from taking off even faster. They forced extra price increases on consumers to cover the tax burden at the port. If tarriffs weren't involved, or used to simply free the market at 0% tarriffs, that would have been far more beneficial
