I actually just saw a video that pointed out black Americans don’t really have coming of age celebrations the way other cultures do which is why so many go all out for prom and it changed my perspective because why is it always a bad thing when we choose to celebrate ourselves??

@CardiBUnlock I agree that prom should be big, cuz this how big I want my send off to be next year but I also think this should be saved for the actual graduation party, now that would make way more sense, after graduation, you go to the party and party all night, not leave the party for prom.
