#AllariNaresh: Comedy has changed... Back then, people were more broad minded. Now, We shouldn't MOCK people. We shouldn't BODY SHAME. We shouldn't HUMILIATE a caste. Comedy is now walking a very thin line.

I disagree with him in this point. Making fun of a person with, name, caste, religion, place, language & body shaming shouldn't have been there. Allowing all these is dangerous than a narrow mindedness.

how "humiliating a caste is comedy"? it is good sign that ppl rejecting this filthy comedy tracks of bodyshaming and mocking 🙌

Back then people were broad-minded” nu sollradhu konjam oversimplification. Every generation has its own sensitivities.

Most of the comedy back then was slap stick comedy. Many jokes were around misogyny, fat shaming, color shaming, that's anything but broad minded

People have become too sensitive now, should bring caste discrimination. Men today are too weak.

yeah in the earlier era of being broad minded we made so much fun of gods too, take the example of Ganapathi character in Padamati Sandhya Ragam movie, the list is endless, every writer & director (literally everyone) went too far back then when the audience were sleepwalking

People were offended then and now, there’s no difference but the technological advancement brought social media within everyone’s finger tips and gave each and everyone a bigger voice than before to express their opinions, that’s the only difference I see. Previously, people who were offended would’ve had to call for a PC or file a petition in court to curb the non sense that some idiots spew in the name of comedy but now, all they have to do is clip and post a reel, to let the world know how they feel, the user engagement and the platforms algorithm would do the rest.

If your comedy requires mocking people, body shaming and humiliating a caste, maybe you should reconsider your sense of humor.

Good! Decades upon decades of jokes at the expense of Brahmjns has become an echo chamber of negative propaganda against them. When everyone's self-respect is observed but only one group is mocked relentlessly, it becomes a tasteless, artless bigotry! Sincerely fuck those jokes!

Good thing. People are more important than cinema. Ala jokes esi body shaming ni common chesesaru. Comedy ante adey na? Amrutham show chudu 300 episodes of comedy with zero body shaming, mocking religion or caste.

I think it's very healthy that comedy is evolving. Avtala vadi Jeevitham meeda comedy cheskoni navvukodam kante navvakunda undadam better. You never know what will hurt them, what will make them feel insecure, what will undermine their confidence. It's called being considerate :)

If comedy has to avoid every sensitive topic, what exactly is left? 😅 Comedy needs boundaries, but those boundaries shouldn’t become a cage.

Comedy has always pushed boundaries. Not every joke needs to be treated like a social offence. Context matters too.

Now, the approach write a genuinely engaing drama. Everyone have their own take aways from a movie. The revenge, the comedy, the concept, the twist, the acting and technical aspects, the music and bgm. You just create cinema and not a particular emotion.

Yes yesteryear actors took everything for granted nothing is to be humiliated and thats right.

Pity him he thought his father and he produced comedy Unfortunate!! They produced cheap scripts Get well soon Glad people realized u cannot take body shaming and caste shaming for granted

Comedy has always had boundaries, but those boundaries keep changing with society. That doesn’t mean comedy itself has changed for the worse.

Now you know why horrible characterisation like Jhanvi’s character in peddi is defended in Tollywood by fans!

Then people are not broad-minded. Because of that kind of comedy and movies our country has become like this. Caste feelings, body shaming and judging people by their looks.

What a amateurish talk

Naresh sir speaking facts. Society became so thin-skinned that real comedy died. Bring back the unrestricted laughter era!

A joke can mock a character without the comedian actually supporting what is being mocked. Audience should also understand the difference.

Bro, comedy without a little bit of risk becomes too predictable. Context and intent matter more than simply calling every joke offensive.

If you need to make fun of someone to make people laugh, then you don't know how to make a comedy.

People became woke and soft. But Ben Stiller of TFI - he had a generational run in 2000s and early 2010s. Pity that folks will get comedy based on people's feelings.

#Panja4k re-release on Sep 2nd❤️🔥

Definitely boundaries are needed, but too many restrictions can kill the spontaneity that makes comedy funny in the first place.

Exactly! Back then we laughed at everything and moved on. Now comedy is walking on eggshells. Miss those days when body-shaming was just “comedy” 😭

Happy this 🤡 wasn't a bigger star..

We need a caste system like India. These people shouldn't be allowed outside designated areas.
