Almost a year before October 7, in Dec 2022, the armed resistance held a parade for its fighters who led the massive operation and later fell in battle, calling on Arab & Muslim nations to anticipate and join in Gaza's retaliatory attacks. None listened.

Trans and LGBTQ+ activists joined local Muslim activists in Brighton, UK, in calling for bloodshed and death in solidarity with Palestine. As heard in the short clip, they chanted that Palestinian Muslim men have a right to “armed struggle” and then added “so death, death to the IDF.” They are openly calling for the death of the Israeli soldiers who stopped the armed Muslims who invaded Israel from Gaza on October 7 from raping and murdering more Jews as human sacrifices for Islam’s god, aka Allah. These people are not calling for peace. They are calling to disarm the Jewish state to allow Muslim men to finish the genocide against Israel’s Jewish population.

On October 7, 2023, Israel enacted its controversial Hannibal Directive, killing hundreds of its own citizens. The day started with a cross-border incursion by Hamas and other armed Palestinian groups. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated that he gave the order to enact the Hannibal Directive – a massive scorched Earth policy where the IDF struck anything that moved in the area – in order to prevent Hamas from taking more captives. . Israeli missiles and tanks pounded the area, destroying vehicles and flattening houses in a way the lightly-armed Palestinian fighters could not have. The massive shelling likely killed most of those slain on the day. Since then, it has used those killed on October 7 as justification for a genocidal campaign against Gaza, and attacks against the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Tunisia, and Yemen.

Jamieson Greer on Trump's retaliatory tariffs on retaliatory tariffs: "Canada has had its retaliatory measures in place on us for at least a year ... We have tried for over a year to get the Canadians to eliminate these things. Again, we've given them the best treatment available in the world in the past year or so, and despite that, they've still taken these actions, so we thought it was necessary to elevate this."
