Almost crashed the car when I heard this (wait for the song). Still deciding whether the music scheduler should be sacked or given a pay rise…

I didn't think it possible but you managed to surpass this Gary Davies clanger from a few weeks ago 😂

About 15 years ago, I remember a BBC local radio presenter ending a paper review, including a story about someone jumping to their death somehow, over the (long) intro to ‘Jump’ by Van Halen. You could actually hear the point at which they realised what they’d done.

Served them right. Who ENDS a paper review on a story like that?!

YEARS ago, he did a phone in about alcoholism and spoke to a recovering alcoholic. With compassion. And then went straight into UB40's 'Red Red Wine.'

I can remember many, many years ago a feature on Radio 2 about people who drank their own urine and the health benefits they claimed to get from it. They followed the segment with Yellow River by Christie.

This is real Homes Under the Hammer style music scheduling

Did they hire the Homes Under The Hammer guy?😁

That show would be nothing without the corny music

Totally deliberate I’m sure. They used U2’s I ‘Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For’ last week after discussing the search for Loch Ness Monster.

I went to a remembrance evening recently, the DJ had a heart attack whilst setting up, they quickly got someone else in so they didn’t have to postpone the evening. The first song that got played was “Another One Bites The Dust” by Queen. 🤦🏻♂️😆
