One reason you could possible consider letting Elanga leave if he wanted to? There's A LOT of wide talent across Europe right now. A selection of some i like. 🧵 First up, no surprise...Evann Guessand. Linked with a few EPL clubs already especially #Wolves and I'd be very jealous of whoever picks him up. Versatile across the front but has done most of his best work coming in off the right. So much to like about him but the one thing I love..his ability to initiate the transition. So good receiving under pressure, dare I say his movements are reminiscent of an Elanga/MGW fusion.

BTC has now wicked above the same resistance three times in five days, and that keeps weakening the level. I still think the most likely short-term move is a push toward the CME gap at $81,145, but I do not like the risk to reward for longs up here. If my bigger bearish thesis is right, this rally is setting up a much better short later, not a chase long now. That bigger picture still matters more to me. April has already done the heavy lifting, while the historical setup for May and June still points to deeper downside and much bigger volatility. If that pattern keeps tracking, BTC could still be setting up for a much harder drop over the next two months. ETH still looks weaker than BTC, BTC dominance keeps pressing higher, and TOTALES is holding up better than the smaller alt indexes. But TOTALE50 and TOTALE100 are both flashing more bearish reversal pressure underneath, so I still think altcoins are vulnerable even if some charts are bouncing for now. In TradFi, DXY and USDJPY both still look capable of pushing higher, ES finally cooled off after a strong streak, the VIX is trying to turn, and the Nikkei still looks strong but not invincible. On the watchlist, I am paying closest attention to XMR, XLM, CHZ, STRK, H, HYPE, TAO, XRP, RENDER, and SOL.

The story of how Janeyeh bought P’Kao’s birthday gift 🎁 At first, I wanted to buy something from Tiffany & Co. for her because they had a really cute heart shaped design. But after thinking about it for a while, I realized that P’Kao already wears necklaces quite often, so I thought it might be better to get something she does not already have much of. Then I went around looking for gifts, and since I was in Taipei at the time, I spent a really long time choosing. I originally planned to get her a necklace again 😭 because I wanted something with a heart design and in pink. But in the end, I could not find anything that felt quite right. So I went to Louis Vuitton and found a pink bracelet that was really cute. When I tried it on, I immediately thought, “Oh, this actually matches the Whoop P’Kao already has.” So I felt like it would look really pretty if she wore them together. Actually, P’Kao prefers silver jewelry, but Louis Vuitton did not have many silver options, so I was pretty stressed about it too 😭 In the end, I decided to go with a smaller piece of jewelry instead. Even though it is gold, it is not too noticeable, and since it is pink, it still looks really cute. That is basically how it all happened. Merry Christmas Eve, dwellers. 🎄🐲 I have a request from a friend that may apply to many people out there, but here are my thoughts… (I apologize for the lengthy response, but this topic is something I also care deeply about) You are doing better than you think. When you feel anxious, it becomes easy to downsize your own efforts. When you look at what you made, you focus only on what could be better. You compare it to an ideal that no one else is holding you to. With that mentality, you forget how much care, time, and effort you already put in. If you keep telling yourself that you are not good at anything, pause for a moment and understand this: that thought isn't true. Anxiety and low self-esteem change how you interpret your own work. Your mind learns to look for flaws and dismiss everything that went right. So even when you make something solid or meaningful, it feels small to you. That does not mean it is small. It means your perception is narrowed by fear and pressure. Perfectionism often hides behind self-criticism. If something is not flawless, your mind labels it as worthless. But that standard is impossible and unfair. Growth does not happen at the finish line. It happens in the unfinished, imperfect attempts you keep doing. The work you are making is not insignificant. It shows growth and someone who is learning while still trying. That matters far more than perfection ever will. You do not need to see your full potential right now. You do not need to prove your worth by being exceptional or reach some invisible standard to justify your effort. You just need to keep doing it and allow your work to exist as it is. Others can see the value even when you cannot. If you cannot see your potential right now, that is okay. You are not broken. You are not lazy. You are not wasting anything. These patterns were learned over time, and they can be unlearned with patience and support. You are not behind, and you are not failing.

When you feel anxious, it becomes easy to downsize your own efforts. When you look at what you made, you focus only on what could be better. You compare it to an ideal that no one else is holding you to. With that mentality, you forget how much care, time, and effort you already put in. If you keep telling yourself that you are not good at anything, pause for a moment and understand this: that thought isn't true. Anxiety and low self-esteem change how you interpret your own work. Your mind learns to look for flaws and dismiss everything that went right. So even when you make something solid or meaningful, it feels small to you. That does not mean it is small. It means your perception is narrowed by fear and pressure. Perfectionism often hides behind self-criticism. If something is not flawless, your mind labels it as worthless. But that standard is impossible and unfair. Growth does not happen at the finish line. It happens in the unfinished, imperfect attempts you keep doing. The work you are making is not insignificant. It shows growth and someone who is learning while still trying. That matters far more than perfection ever will. You do not need to see your full potential right now. You do not need to prove your worth by being exceptional or reach some invisible standard to justify your effort. You just need to keep doing it and allow your work to exist as it is. Others can see the value even when you cannot. If you cannot see your potential right now, that is okay. You are not broken. You are not lazy. You are not wasting anything. These patterns were learned over time, and they can be unlearned with patience and support. You are not behind, and you are not failing.

"I've given up!" Writer Peter Hitchens says he has failed in his attempts to alert UK Conservative politicians to the real and present threat the left are to the West. Many of us might understand exactly how he feels. New Zealand and Australian parties who profess to oppose the left are notoriously weak and ineffective. The UK Conservatives have been so disappointing to the electorate they are today almost out of the political game altogether. The Australian Liberals and New Zealand's National party look like going down the same road. Australia already has their Starmer doppleganger in Labor PM Anthony Albanese. In New Zealand its Chris Hipkins. The Labour party leader in opposition is far more popular than he should be and is mounting a real challenge to the governing coalition. We need real opposition to the left, but more importantly we need strong and articulate leaders. Who most of all have the ideas and the oratory ability to express those ideas and take the electorate with them. Right now National doesn't have such a leader and neither do the Australian Liberals. There are people in both parties who could make a much better fist of the leadership and they need to step forward. Before it is too late.

Buttigieg: It is not too much to ask that, in this country and in this state, one job ought to be enough, which means wages and benefits that make that possible. It’s not too much to ask that you ought to be able to afford to raise a family in this country—to put your kid in child care if you want, or stay home and take care of them yourselves if you want, or do some combination of that if you want—and still have it add up at the end of the month. It is not too much to ask that the wealthiest country in the world have the best health care in the world and that it have the best-funded public schools in the world. And it is not too much to ask that the largest corporations and wealthiest people in this country pay at least as much of their income and wealth in taxes as a schoolteacher, a bus driver, or a firefighter. It is not too much to ask for a different kind of politics, where you look at your leaders in action and actually feel your blood pressure come down a little bit instead of going through the roof. That is a reasonable thing to expect of our leaders. It is not too much to ask. We can do this. Most of us already want this. So the obvious question is: Why hasn’t it happened? And that’s where we’ve got to talk about the system that we’re living with, which, by the way, as a politician, they kind of tell you not to do. Consultants say, “Look, no one’s going to get too fired up about the details of our democratic system when they’re just trying to keep their heads above water in this economy,” which I get, and to some extent I agree. But the reason that so many things are wrong with our economic picture is that so many things are wrong with our political system. And we’ve gotten so used to it, we can forget that there was a time when our political system was the pride of this nation. Wars have been fought for our system, starting with the first one—the one that launched 250 years ago with the Declaration of Independence, the one that gave this nation its being. The Founders risked their lives for a better political system. So don’t tell me it can’t stir people’s hearts. Don’t tell me that it’s not worth fighting for. Especially because until we do something to change our political system, we will continue to suffer from an economic system that lets us down: monopolies squeezing families and farmers on both ends; consumers and workers caught up in a system that can’t serve them; small businesses swamped by the big guys. Right now, what’s at stake is nothing less than the American dream. It is endangered.
