Peak Modern Sonic Level design would be to place a booster on every downward slope! Or just a warp ring to fly over the top of it!

balloons as homing attack fodder changed my brain chemistry and now i like homing attack just a bit more

Apparently the homing attack is planned just hasn't been implemented yet which is why I settled for light speed dash balloons instead lol It'll likely function how it did in Sonic Megamix

This isn’t even bad in a vacuum, level design like this just needs to be used in conjunction with non-automated segments. The real boring part of this would be the lack of variety in how the stage challenges you, and any style of Sonic level design could falter from that.

No its a light speed dash and you can use it as any character under certain conditions
