I asked Garry Tan how to use meta prompting to get better at AI: "My partners at YC Jared Friedman and Pete Koomen showed me how to do this. You can take almost anything that you do all the time and just drop it into a context window. And then say, “Here’s a bunch of inputs and outputs." And maybe you also add a bunch of notes. And then you tell it, “Write me a prompt that can act as an agent that takes this input and makes this output over here.” You can do this for almost any type of knowledge work. And you can even introspect. "What are things you notice that I did to convert this from the input to the output?”. And then you can just start using the prompt. Initially, it’s going to suck. Because it’s just not that smart yet. But what’s funny is now, I also use it to Iterate my writing. You can be very direct, "I would never say that", "Don’t say it like this", or "Oh, you used the long word there, use the short word". Just speak to it conversationally. And then when you're happy with the output, you can use that new output to make a new prompt. "Based on this conversation, give me a better initial prompt that incorporates all the things we talked about." And you can do this with literally everything. And in theory, there’s so much it applies to that people do day-to-day. You could use it for tweets. You could use it for editing podcasts. You can use it for pretty much everything. I have a folder of prompts that I use all the time. My YouTube prompt is on v27 or something. I'll go through this process with all the different max models. I'll use GPT 5.2 Pro. I’ll use Grok. I'll use Claude. Then, I’ll take all the outputs from all the models and put them into Claude and say "Here’s my prompt, here’s the output from four LLMs, including yourself. Rate each response and tell me what the pros and cons of each approach are." And I usually say "give it to me in numbered form". And then you can agree with one, disagree with two, tell it three is this or that. And then after that, you say given all of this, synthesize it."

Pretty incredible You have to try the new '/goal' feature in Codex It worked for over an hour and built me an entire complex extraction shooter video game You give it a goal, then it works endlessly until the goal is complete. It's like a Ralph loop. Can run for days If you enable the image gen skill before you run the goal, it will even generate ALL the assets for your game autonomously. I didn't manually create ANY of the assets you see in the video Recommendations: enable the image gen skill, put on skip all permissions, and give the prompt as much detail as you can. For months, I've been quietly building a prototype of something just because I want it to exist. Papyrus is a word processor, editor, proofreader, fact-checker, deep researcher, brainstorming partner, all in one. It takes your rough draft and helps you skip three revisions. Now I'm considering pivoting my whole team to build it out, but first, I need your vote. You email is your vote. LINK IN COMMENTS. I don't even care if you use some email you never look at and just use for sign ups. To me one email is one vote and says, go ahead and build this damn thing out and make it awesome. I built it because today's apps are the bloated dial-ups of writing (Word, GDocs). They've got a hundred freaking buttons I don't need and bury the ones I do need. Or they're AI marketing slop toys that promise to read my mind and pump out garbage. They just don't get the real work of writing and they don't get me. I want a clean, focused space with a real AI co-pilot. I don't need it to do the all the writing for me, just like I don't need Claude Code to do all the code for me. I want to work with it. I want a writing partner that acts like a full writing team on-call 24X7: proofreading, fact-checking, and running deep research in the background while I focus on the hard parts. I'm tired of cutting and pasting between a dozen tools so I started writing this thing. But won't the big guys just build something like this? Sure. But it will just bolt your ass into their ecosystem. Google Docs will force Gemini on you. Whatever office suite OpenAI pumps out will only use GPT. I want to use any model. Open or closed. They're commodities. The app is the thing. I want the best tool for the job, GPT-5, Kimi, Qwen, Claude, whatever comes tomorrow. I want a fluid, flexible workspace. I'm building this thing for people who've got critical thinking and who build, who don't want to outsource every damn thing to the machine. So if that's you and you believe this should exist, I really need your vote. Tell me to build it and I'll go all-in and make it a reality. Thanks for giving me a moment of your time.

English is literally the hottest programming language. It's absolutely crazy that you can build a complete product in plain English. I'm using Rocket in this video. This is a new app. You type what you want, and Rocket builds it for you. This is great if you want to build: • A landing page • A complete web application • A mobile app • A dashboard to showcase something • An internal tool to automate anything This is another example of how developers should become comfortable being copilots for AI agents (instead of using AI as a copilot). Some of the things I like about Rocket: 1. One-click deploy to Netlify (I use Netlify for all my projects) 2. GitHub integration 3. Supabase integration for your backend 4. Built-in support for Stripe 5. Built-in support for Resend 6. Google Analytics integration 7. Smart AI search with Perplexity 8. You can also integrate with GPT models, Gemini, and Claude 9. You can make visual edits by describing what you want 10. You can upload images and have Rocket implement them Best of all are the templates: They have a large library of templates that will help you get started. These templates will help you save money (because of fewer tokens), and you can modify them as you see fit. I read on the site that you can also bring a Figma file and turn it into an app, but I didn't test that feature. By the way, you can start using it for free. How I have Claude automate anything I do on my computer just by showing it: I use the free Clips app and hit record to start recording. Then I just do the action - like navigating to Rippling and approving any unapproved time off - and I’ll often just talk out loud as I do it explaining any add’l details like I would when showing a human. The Clips app captures everything on your screen and everything you say, and transforms it into a format Claude can “see and hear”. You'll then get a link that you can easily share with Claude (or humans too). I’ll paste it to Claude and say something like, "automate this for me every day at 8:00 AM." The link has special metadata that agents like Claude can discover. It exposes APIs to see the full transcript with timestamps and grab screenshots of what was on your screen at any of those timestamps. Once it's created the routine, you can go to the Routines tab in Claude Code desktop app. This also works with the CLI, Claude Cowork, Codex etc. You’ll see your new routine there, and you can just hit Run Now to have it start running it. How I have Claude automate anything I do on my computer just by showing it: I use the free Clips app and hit record to start recording. Then I just do the action - like navigating to Rippling and approving any unapproved time off - and I’ll often just talk out loud as I do it explaining any add’l details like I would when showing a human. The Clips app captures everything on your screen and everything you say, and transforms it into a format Claude can “see and hear”. You'll then get a link that you can easily share with Claude (or humans too). I’ll paste it to Claude and say something like, "automate this for me every day at 8:00 AM." The link has special metadata that agents like Claude can discover. It exposes APIs to see the full transcript with timestamps and grab screenshots of what was on your screen at any of those timestamps. Once it's created the routine, you can go to the Routines tab in Claude Code desktop app. This also works with the CLI, Claude Cowork, Codex etc. You’ll see your new routine there, and you can just hit Run Now to have it start running it. NEW TOOL: It's a fully in-browser binary/file analysis tool with a hex editor. Features: - Hex editor and you can save the edited file - Mach-O symbols - ELF and PE basic metadata - Zip file contents - Fully client-side in-browser, so it is private and the files are never sent anywhere This is meant as a basic and quick tool to check simple metadata and do hex edits. If you need something more robust for malware analysis consider other tools like Malcore™ aka Malcore.io™ or just use a cli/native tool. Shoutout to Battle Programmer Yuu for inspiring me to use Unifont that I stole from tmp.0ut (it looks so good!) The code is all generated by Claude in Cursor and hosted on Github Pages. I don't really do any binary analysis, so if you have suggestions for improvements, let me know. (this is technically 'early access' and i haven't tested it too much)

So, I must compliment all of you; you are going to have this AI facility here, which is hopefully going to open even new frontiers and opportunities for you. So use these opportunities well. Your teachers and your parents make a lot of sacrifices for you to be here, to learn, to grow and to have a strong future. We must always respect what other people do for us and respect their participation in making us what we are. By the time you leave school, you may not have a full idea of what your life will be like. What will your future be? But you will have a good idea of who you are going to be as a person for the rest of your life. So, if that idea of yourself can include love for others, can include kindness towards others, can include honesty, can include the worth of working hard for your living and earning without having to cheat or lie, then I think you will be on the right path and you will have a successful and fulfilling life. It can click, type, edit, navigate, and even write + execute code. A tiny cursor becoming a real computer-use agent. Every Clip comes with APIs and metadata for agents to explore their contents. Agents can "see and hear" anything in a Clip - not just transcripts, but everything visually in the video at any timestamp. Easily share bug reports, feedback, analyses, or anything else in a way that you can easily pass to agents to use to improve products, reports, or more. Also unlike Loom, you own the software, so no one can jack up prices on you suddenly like Loom did to us. Clips is made to be customized. The built-in agent can customize its own code, so you can personalize the app to your needs and workflows. This, in my opinion, is the future of software. Open-source, forkable, customizable with agents, to make your own personal version of anything. You can also import Looms just from a URL and upload videos as well. I got so sick of telling people "don't send me feedback as looms, I can't pass those to agents, I need text and images" that I had to just solve this once and for all.
