Superb writing. Eddie and Joan are fantastic characters. The episode where they sell the football card to pay their phone bill is hilarious and so poignant in equal measures 👍

I’m always struck by the level of writing and acting in the show. In lesser hands, Eddie and Joan could’ve been mere parodies but everything about them is superb
