TATMR is certainly not a perfect film, but I will never forget how excited I was when I saw this on vhs in a block buster somewhere. Nowadays it has a nostalgic warmth over me and before I decided "thomas doesn't have to be just for kids" the song shining time would make me cry

One year ago today, we did our first experiment restoring the original voice cast to Thomas and the Magic Railroad. Using the film's stereo mix (with vocals poorly removed) and newly recovered ADR MP3s, this proof of concept showed us it could actually work. We've come so far.
