#SEONGHWA about keeping his hair short 🥲 ⭐: I.. uh, I don’t have any plans for that (growing his hair) for the time being. For now I like my hair short. And since I’ve figured out how to take care of it/style it myself, I think short hair will be good (to keep) for a while. Yes, I want to keep it for quite a long time. 🐰 i worked a lot with El Guincho. I got to listen to a lot of tracks and i was really wowed by just how fresh and new this was. One of the first thoughts i had was ‘wow, you can approach a song like this?’ and i felt a lot of pressure about how to make the best use of it. so that must be why i wanted to stay close, it was a totally a different vibe, a whole new vibe. i hope to work again and have another session with the producers and songwriters that we worked with

Let’s have this conversation because I truly appreciate a woman wanting to maintain her femininity while also being armed. I want her to be safe. I want her armed. I want to encourage this woman to continue to be proud of her right to bear arms. I also want to exercise good practices. Having a gun exposed like that can lead to a lot of problems. If you get pulled over by a cop, that cop walks up on you with a flashlight looking in your vehicle and sees a firearm, you are risking a whole bunch of issues - you could be viewed as a threat - people like Philando Castile was killed for less. In a car jacking situation you are exposing your tools preventing you from having the chance to defend yourself. For example, a bad guy wants you to get out the car, you are no longer with that gun on body to exit the vehicle with - you could also get hurt bc of it being seen bc now we have people who assume the visual of a gun is a threat. Also in an accident that gun may fly out the window. So many things to consider. Idgaf if you have to flash people when you draw. This is your life. No ego belongs behind a trigger and i dont give a damn who sees, bc it will be the last thing they do see bc im going to fight. In this video I am wearing NUDE underwear. I got so much backlash for it bc I was accused of sexualizing myself, exposing myself, etc. I have said it before and I will say it again: This is not coke v pepsi, or revlon v covergirl, this is DANGEROUS FREEDOM. Risk v reward. My life and all women’s lives are worth defending and it’s time we understand that women have the right to choose their life and defense without being judged or ridiculed for it. I created the video when I was out of town, traveling for work and wanted to go experience some night life and I traveled alone. I always carry a firearm and I always practice drawing that gun from concealment before I leave to make sure I can deploy it properly and I am able to keep that gun in place. When you are carrying in non traditional clothes and places you are taking a risk. You have to test your equipment and gear, making sure you have adequate trigger coverage etc. I hope this helps other women and if the video offends or upsets people i don’t really care. This is honesty, this is self defense and this is authentic as f. This is my truth, and I am here to help arm and educate.

“i’ve been told that you've tried spending less time on your phone recently, which i believe is a very hard thing to do. what made you do it? and did it actually work?” 🆑: yeah, i am achieving that. then there's a balance to find, because it's also true that as soon as you are... you kind of feel a little bit disconnected on what's going around because today everybody is with a phone, and so there's a balance to find. i did two or three months, i think, without ever touching my phone apart from whatsapp when i was receiving messages and calls, and that was maybe a little bit extreme. so now maybe i'm trying to find a balance between the two because it's good to be up to date with what's going on around the world and to stay in touch with friends and funny moments. there's also lots of funny moments on social media and it part also of social interaction with friends and family. so there's a balance to find, but it is also true that it's a place where sometimes it can be a little bit toxic when you are in a position where people can kind of judge and say anything very, very easily. and they have the right to do so, but as a human being, you can also be affected by looking at those things. so it's a balance to find. i don't know if i found the perfect one, but for now it works for me, which is the most important.

✨ A lot of progress on my drone sim today which has now evolved to a kind of soldier + drone sim (my entry to the #vibejam even though I can't win of course) Today I changed the sounds from synth to real sounds, I edited a lot in Audacity to make these shooting loops and now it sounds much more real Also added ambient background sounds like nature birds but also general like distant war sounds And of course you hear the drone sound we had before The new game mode I'll show soon is you start as a soldier and you have like 3 drones in your backpack you can use, you press F and then you launch a drone from your point and attack, then if you exit that or it crashes you're back to being a soldier, very fun With the sounds it feels much more real and scary! I keep saying but then next is multiplayer...cause I want to see you all walk and fly around in my game 😊😊😊

🦊 i finished wrapping up first my solo recently and as words from people around me started influencing me, it really stressed me out and it really started swaying my identity as a person…i was really burnt out for 3 months 🦊 i used to be someone that told people everything when i was going through a hard time like “i’m going through a tough time right now” but i don’t know when it started, but i couldn’t get myself to tell people around me anymore 👤 i wonder why? was it out of consideration for them? 🦊 that could be why…and i also felt like i needed to learn how to overcome things myself 🦊 i didn’t say anything to anyone and was going through it myself…then i thought about namjoon hyung so i went to him and asked him a lot of questions and one of the things he said to me was that he hopes i face the things that make me uncomfortable 🦊 i had conflicts with soobin and we had awkward phases but i wanted to erase all of these things one by one and i feel like there were also a lot of things that i had been misunderstanding, coming to think of it now…so i went up to soobin first and said “hey, let’s go get a drink”

And it is difficult to hear. It is also a reminder that the silence that often greets this kind of bigotry, this kind of Islamophobia, is what allows it to fester, the temptation to treat it as politics as usual. I am not ashamed of who I am. I am not ashamed of my faith. I am not ashamed of being the first Muslim mayor in the history of our city. And there is no amount of racism that will change the way in which I lead or the commitment that I hold to each and every New Yorker in this city.
