There's no such thing as makoti in SA languages. In isiZulu it's malokazana, in Sesotho it's ngwetsi, period.

True but unneccesary. There is a lot of things whites changed that we adopted and made it our culture. Not all can be changed. We bury on weekends, we did that to accomodate the whites. Culture evolves with times. The headscarf(doek) was worn to accomodate white women.
