Also worth noting, the San Joaquin Delta smelt - which is actually not even native to California - hasn’t been seen in six years.

So they made decisions that allowed LA to burn down for a tiny fish not native to California that no one can even find. Good job environmentalists. This tragedy is on your hands.

Yeah, no shit. It's the perfect species for Environmentalists to use as a shield to inflict their narrative.

They’re extinct already. Just like Trump said.

The water disaster that CA has experienced because of this ridiculous Delta smelt fish has been going on for a decade now! I am a NorCal transplant to SoCal… And I’ve been making the Hwy 5 drive between locales regularly over the last 20 years to visit family back home. It’s incredibly sad to see a once lush farming area turned into a dust bowl over this nonsense

It was all a big lie.

The young man that she went fishing with? They did not catch any fish, but she came back with a big red snapper!

It’s about Big Ag, not the smelt. The smelt is just the scapegoat

That's nothing. We haven't seen decent governance in California for decades.

Exactly … Delta Smelt saved - zero! Now look into sewage from SF, where it’s being dumped (plus storm water drainage) & what would happen if our stored water wasn’t used to dilute it going to the ocean

Just another way to scam taxpayers
