Counter Strike hacking is one of my guilty pleasures. This is a video of an AI tool built into one of the most popular HvH cheats on the market. HvH (Hack vs. Hack) is a game mode where everyone in the lobby is cheating. “If everyone is cheating, then how is it fun?” The game becomes something entirely different in this mode. Instead of focusing on physical reaction time, aim, and movement skills, players must concentrate on the quality of their cheats compared to those used by their opponents. The game essentially turns into a sandbox for software optimization, where cheaters compete against each other to see who has the better-written code and configuration. Players must use every tool available to keep up with everyone else in the scene. My favorite cheat, Anti-Aim (AA), is used to help protect players from getting shot by cleverly exploiting the game mechanics to fake the angle of their hitbox. It works by choking abs yaw packets to exploit a coding error in the game, causing your model’s position to appear bugged to other players. The server processes each command sent by the client in the order it receives them, then it updates animations for each command. After this, the server takes the latest information it has and sends it to other players. If you choke packets, you will essentially send all of your choked commands at the same time. Again, the server will look at what’s latest and send that to other players. Now, you should see the issue clearly: the client is missing loads of information and will start updating animations with incorrect information. This will lead to numerous inaccuracies in their animation state, most importantly their abs yaw (m_flGoalFeetyaw), which indicates where their feet are pointing. The creation of Anti-aim techniques significantly disrupted gameplay, giving users an extra unfair advantage. Meanwhile, forest management remains chronically underfunded, and as Ezra noted, the catastrophic Fort McMurray fire nearly a dozen years ago was made worse precisely because forests were not trimmed back from the city for political and environmental reasons. "There are politics," he said. "But the politics need money." Sue-Ann argued the foreign aid spending is not really about the countries receiving it; instead, the dollars are about shaping about domestic politics. "It's about Carney going on a tour mosque to mosque like Trudeau used to do," she said. Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand's trip to Pakistan this week, she noted, has nothing to do with Canadian interests in Pakistan. The ad was written by Canadian Glen Hunt, although it was directed by American Kevin Donovan. The public relations agency behind the ad was Thornley Fallis. After testing the ad with movie audiences in Ottawa, it went national during the Academy Awards in 2000. The ad was an immediate hit. But that night something also debuted that became an immediate hit. The I Am Canadian Rant. Let's learn more! 🇨🇦✊👇 I Am Canadian was a slogan for Molson Canadian that debuted in 1994. The focus of the campaign was on Canadian nationalism. There were many great commercials related to the I Am Canadian campaign but nothing reached the level of "The Rant". In the ad, a man named Joe stands in front of a cinema screen that shows images related to Canadian culture. He then speaks about what is and what is not Canadian, including ranting against stereotypes of Canadians by Americans. A good example is the line "I say 'about' not 'aboot'" The man in the ad was Nova Scotian actor Jeff Douglas. Below is a message from Björk: ~~~ “ the flood of all things from AI is overwhelming !! i am super grateful for your concerns about it´s effects on the environment , it shows you care , are curious and have integrity . i am curious too , i would like to be more informed about the difference of "frugal" AI and the ones that do hugeenvironmental damage and want to be able to choose . i asked around and found out that both the visuals and the audio in our pompidou project were done with "frugal" AI . but i have a lot to learn . when we used some of the AI softwares to merge the animals voices to mine , some of the sounds were great but to be honest , the best blends of their voices and a human were done "manually" , me editing the sounds , choosing piece by piece , looking for personality , musicality and soul . with new technology , i try to use it as a tool to grow , not a crutch . for example when i used melodyne , i used it not for lazy voice progressions but spent even more time when using it . every note in every chord became intentionally more complex . ( for example choir in "thunderbolt" ) and hopefully stretched the potential more out , further than i would have in "normal analog" physical improvisations ... i felt with this new tool i could reach new places in my musical DNA , become MORE personal . more myself . in my opinion , this is how we will work in the future . humans can read emotions on an incredibly high scale . nature made us that way . if there is no soul in tomorrow's music made by AI it is because no-one put it there and we have to speak out and guard this as listeners . ( tbh there is a lot of soulless muzak on spotify already ... they don’t need any AI help for that ...) anything that is mass manufactured without the attention of creativity , is that way . AI or not so it is not about the tool it is what you do with it . But because a “nonprofit” based out of the UK issued a report labeling you a “misinformation superspreader.” They pull a bogus stat out of thin air, then weaponize it to say you are “killing people.” The media amplifies it.
