Why is Ashoka's presence in the Puranas often debated? Ashoka's reign marked a turning point in Indian history. After embracing Buddhism, he promoted Dhamma through compassion, non-violence, and ethical governance. His relationship with later Puranic traditions has become a subject of historical debate, with different sources preserving his legacy in different ways. #rawtalkswithvk #ashoka
