And they can’t process it, they literally must see it with their own eyes because about 80% of the population lives in a first world. They can’t think one step ahead. They can’t see multiple steps ahead. That’s not what most people are.

I think they're going to be doing a lot of behind the scenes work next year, but then in 2027 we'll probably start to see it trickle down. Elon's expecting exponential growth. Moore's first law I imagine until Moore's second law comes into effect.

Tesla have been pretty honest, it's just that big of a societal change that people will not be able to prepare themselves for the reality of it. I watched about 10 mins of the figure robot moving parcels, after that every task I did in my kitchen, I couldn't help but see myself as the robot. That effect is going to be profound when the robots are doing most physical tasks autonomously. Self-worth will be on the floor for many. There will be a Dystopia before the Utopia.

I still haven't heard ONE new job title that comes after AI and robotics (gladly) take all the jobs -and I hope it stays that way. Please, don't create a bunch of meaningless jobs just to prop up a dying economic systems - we have an EPIC Star Fleet future beckoning us to live so much bigger than bills and 'pay to exist'.

Japan Airlines has unveiled a humanoid robot trial at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport to test baggage handling and aircraft cabin cleaning to address Japan’s growing labor shortages caused by an aging population, shrinking workforce, and booming tourism demand. Musk explained that humanoid robots improve through three exponential trends multiplied together: digital intelligence, AI chip capability, and electromechanical dexterity. But the real unlock is that the robot can start making the robots. "So you have a recursive multiplicative exponential," he said. "This is a supernova." Musk's thesis is that once you have a physical robot capable of manufacturing, the production curve stops being linear and becomes self-replicating. Every robot built accelerates the building of the next one. The implication is that the companies that control physical manufacturing will control AI's future, not the ones with the best models. The bottleneck is not intelligence. It is atoms.
