Failure is a teacher. If you have success, you did it right, so there is probably nothing to learn. But if you have failure, there is something to learn. You have to make the most of your failures. Over time, I developed an instinctual reaction to failure. My instinct now is to view failure as a puzzle that will give me gems if I can solve it. The puzzle is simply this: What would I do differently in the future so as not to have that result? When you solve that puzzle, you write the lesson down. The whole process of putting together the "I hate cowboys" record and the "go down singin'" record was a long two years of figuring out how do something I've never done before. All the songs were written on guitar and a depth I haven't really hit before. This is the final piece of that puzzle. "The fireside sessions" are both those albums together, all acoustic, featuring the songwriters from both those records. This time in my career ends with both album covers together with me and my dad standing next to each other. It's the first time I've ever been able to see a picture of us as two grown men. I'm moving on to another album early next year, but I hope y'all love these versions of the songs, as they were written. The bluebird last night was a special way to celebrate the ending of these last two years, and the start of something new👏🏼

Statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was in dilapidated condition in New Alipore of Kolkata for the last few months. It was covered by the tricolour for a long time. When local residents took an initiative to repair the statue, as can be seen from the video, some notorious elements spread fake news about vandalism of the statue. While BJP is taking decision after decision to restore Bengal’s glory and heritage, Fake News factory of opposition forces are trying to spread falsehoods. People of West Bengal have already discredited these elements and will keep giving them the reply they deserve.
