It is becoming apparent that the two party system has outlived its useful life. Too much corruption, too many words too carefully chosen in a pantomime between to political forces that don’t really want to change anything. They just want to have their go, to have their turn to jam their grubby hands into the till. Surely with this major and catastrophic failure by the so-called Honourable Minister Senator Wong, the people will be able to see through the veil and into the absolute and irresponsible lack of care at the heart of this deceitful Labor government. They lie about everything, and they can, because they don’t have an opposition worthy of the title. I am growing more confident by the day that the only solution to our woes is a new political force, a fresh, Australia first force, that will act in the national interest and put all these corrupt and useless used-car salesmen red and blue in the dustbin of history. It can’t come soon enough. Time is short. I just want Australia back.

Major Lazer’s origin story is a jumbled up mess. it reads more like a villain story. I knew about Dave (Switch) from being the weirdest and hardest dj in london.. I followed him around endlessly trying to get tips on how to produce better he taught me logic and I threw it in the garbage and learned ableton he was Interested in my local scene in philly - spank rock, amanda blank, santigold, plastic little .. and somehow M.I.A. ⊕ II II II got mixed up in the project as me and Dave were summoned by XL Recordings to make beats for her .. I failed miserably but we did make a mixtape “piracy funds terrorism” and eventually made some bangers like paper planes and bucky done gun.. and dave had a few bangers around town. A few days ago Jerod McDaniel shared a quote along the lines of “horses made for war don’t dance well at weddings” I think there are a lot of people like myself that know how plants… or livestock.. or a pasture or even building a house or pouring concrete work. We just want to do what we do. The weather worked out well this year for this. We’re going to be 👍 I could grow about anything, but I like to do it my own way. I sometimes wish I didn’t have to predict or guess what people will do… or markets… and the all the corresponding things that entails. I know you can’t just do your craft, but sometimes you want to just immerse yourself in something you have a more complete understanding of. I watch people like Adam Chappell do this with cotton. Zack Smith come up with farmonius designs Intergrazing livestock. We could do so much cool shit, if only we could just have the local markets, infrastructure… if the average person could have that connection and means to trade with the local farm / farmer that just wanted to just do it…be him or herself Maybe I left you hanging with the main idea here. It’s been 21 months since I joined Shannon Jean resellers mastermind community….its been a blessing to meet such great people in this chapter of my life:: A bit about me (no TL DR version) I grew up poor and remember going to auctions when I was 12 years old…. We would buy the $1 boxes that everyone one else overlooked…. On a Friday night we would load up the truck and trailer with over 50’of them…. It was usually midnight before we were done….. Then we would head to the swap meet and sleep in the truck until about 5am… Next we started unloading and putting the overlooked merchandise on our card tables…. That’s where I learned how to haggle and to sell…. Regulars would come by and get a kick out of an 12 year old…selling stuff… At that time my dad made $7 an hour and we usually made $200 to $300 in profit at the swap meet… We felt rich going through the McDonald’s drive through and ordering 25 of the hamburgers that were 35 cents and eating off them during the week… By the time I was 16 my dad remarried and found another job that provided more $$ for our family…. To be honest I enjoyed auctions/swapmeets with my Dad… It’s partly why I enjoy reselling…my Dad chooses not to be in my kids life and I miss some of the experiences we had…. I put myself through college 100% self funded selling at swap meets, festivals and my first accounting job… Graduated in 5.5 years with no debt….the passed the CPA exam and said good by to the prior life… I could make much more $$$ focusing on building an accounting/CPA business… But I really enjoy meeting and talking with people searching for a bargain… The FB marketplace customers are my people (Lol)…im empathetic because I’ve also walked in their shoes.. Poor folks…are some of the most loyal, compassionate, and generous people… Anyways reselling restarted with my first 2 pallets on 10/7/24… Landed cost was $1,042. Profit was $1300+ 13 days to sell out Never used a Pressure Washer before Not a handy guy… I’ve sold over 1700 pressure washers since then…primarily on Facebook Marketplace… My wife has joined the cause and she reflected this weekend that she may Resurrect her “Sales” career.:: She was in corporate sales before being a SAHM…. She may start selling heavy equipment/machinery… Why? She likes selling pressure washers to guys! You can just do stuff… We are going to fund our kids college through reselling? Why…we really like the people! It’s hard work and not easy..not passive!

He mentioned 50+ inquiries for buying one (they sold out before i walked in). It will be the most viral piece in all of Art Miami. It’s Friday 8th March 2024. As I walk into London’s iconic Westminster Hall for the graduation ceremony of Masters in Clinical Trials London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine , I count myself privileged to have my lovely wife Dr Yemisi Adeyeye and our daughter,Adesewa in my company. The master of ceremonies starts by reminding us that the date is international women’s day. I wished in my mind that my late mum was alive to see this. She sacrificed a commonwealth scholarship towards a Masters in the UK,just to make sure her kids were fine in a time family crisis. A crisis which cost her health. Indeed many mothers in our dear country 🇳🇬 (and across the world) continue to make untold sacrifices in the face of socioeconomic uncertainty. She was so excited about my Masters program but alas, faith would not allow her experience the joy of my graduation. As I take my seat with my colleagues in the front rows, I recollect other memories of her….. She home-schooled me as soon as I could hold a pen; while still in diapers. She ensured that I didn't have to go through nursery class ,even though my school had insisted. I had to write the promotion exam to primary 1 in my first week in Nursery school just to prove my case. She made sure I left primary school in class 4 after coaching me on the common entrance exams for secondary schools, while still in Primary 3. She always made sure I came top of my class in every exam and was sorely disappointed when I came 2nd in my final exam in primary 4 (by one mark). Safe to say she wasn’t amused when I told her to relax since I already had 6 offers for admission into secondary school! She felt I took my feet off the academic pedal. She even taught me, as an adult, how to drive my first car,a manual gear exchange Toyota. I still wonder why I bought that model;it was so stressful! She kept encouraging me to be the best I could ever be. To go to the places she could never go (even though she had an excellent academic knowledge of the world through her career as a geography teacher). To achieve the things she aspired to but could not accomplish because of the unfair cards she was dealt with. She raised me to be humble,kind,courteous,hardworking,easy going and gentlemanly. The only time she beat me was when I almost drowned after disobeying her instruction not to go swimming with friends. I now know that she caned me more out of fear of loosing me. I smile as I remember the tears… I wipe a tear off my face when my faculty is brought up the stage. As my name is called, I quietly say out her name and walk the podium. The steps I take on the stage were in her memory, a fitting tribute to the sacrifices she made over the years. Rest in Peace Mum; your legacy lives on and your foot prints in the sands of time will not be forgotten. Let’s all continue to honor the women who inspire us✌️
