If you have to perform a full forensic sweep just to feel safe, you are staying in the wrong place. Don't waste your time. If you can't trust the establishment enough to skip the all these, you shouldn't be giving them your money. If you have to do all this just to sleep, stay somewhere you actually trust. It is that simple.

None of those did anything to secure the door. The belt fell off, towel can easily be pushed, foil does nothing even with the rubber bands zip tie and lock. Locking the deadbolt was the only effective thing why the hell you had to use plyers is beyond me. What was the point?
