Always make a jig. Whenever I'm making something that's repetitive or highly dynamic, I try and make a tool to aid me. For the categorization quiz in Pica, each font card hops into the style you select. I made this lil curved path editor to dial it in.

A few people have asked how I make these animations. The answer is it's just code and a screen recording. I’ll make little jigs like this interactive timeline to dial things in, but for me I find this is still the fastest way to create and refine exactly what I want.

When we began testing #GeminiOmni I wanted to see the accuracy of the edits. So I made a tool directly in Google Flow. DIFF TOOL allows you to compare images/videos in realtime or export videos in sync. Try it out or remix it to make it your own.

Haven't posted about Shadow in a while but today there's a really cool new development. I got to try out a new tool that's in the works that allows for editing of the vfx files, and I made new effects for the Chaos Snap with it. Huge thanks to angryzor for the tool

Hello artists, I have a problem! I'm looking for a way to fix this issue in Clip Studio Paint: As you can see in the video, my shadow layer is clipped to my base color layer, but it's still stretching the color to the edges of the base color. I've tried looking for an option or something to fix this, but haven't found anything. I've changed my brush settings, created a new brush, etc., but nothing works. I went back to Paint Tool SAI and saw that when I make a selection, it doesn't do this in Paint Tool SAI. So I tried it in Clip Studio Paint, and unfortunately, the problem persists. It spreads the color to the selection edges where Paint Tool SAI doesn't. If anyone has a solution, a better-programmed brush, an add-on, or anything that can fix this problem, I would be very grateful!

This tool is amazing and if you are looking into XR design you MUST try ShapesXR - every time I think of an idea I can easily prototype it before spending a lot of time in development. I also love the fact that I was able to import this into Unity, I made a few changes after the fact but it allowed me to get started fairly quickly.

If you can't make a decision, ask Cursor to make you a quiz. I've found this helpful when dealing with a lot of variables in a project - I can go through (pressing Y or N keys) and see/compare results at the end. This example, I needed to compare three different sans across length and scale.
