Carter is a great example of Republican Hypocrisy, Jimmy Carter defines Christian Values in every aspect of his life. Jimmy ONLY gives to others, Loves his Neighbors, speaks NO Evil of others etc. Yet the GOP Evangelicals dislike & ridicule Carter for speaking against MAGA.

He was a remarkably honest President. Republicans frequently berated him. Congress wouldn't support him. They mocked him as he wore sweaters rather than expensive suits. They ridiculed his brother Billy. Jimmy Carter has accomplished more for disadvantaged Americans than most. 🇺🇲

I was on this flight and it was so special.

My daughter is 18…I was a young teen during his presidency. Yesterday, she told me that she admires him and his good works. She is headed to college this week and plans to major in poli-sci and international relations. She hopes to emulate his work for those who need a voice.

Very nice gesture by a gentlemen. We were better off with people like Carter and Reagan than the current crop of politics.

I grew up eating government cheese because of Carter. He was a terrible president.

My daughter was fortunate to meet and speak to him after a concert she was performing in Georgia. Felt it was such a privilege to meet a former US president. Mentioning how gracious and welcoming he was with everyone. A true American.

He did the same on the when my husband was flying to China. Talked to everyone. So nice.

I wish all former Presidents could be like Jimmy Carter. He and Mrs. Rosalynn Carter are both in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for all the goodness you’ve brought to so many people who needed help.

President Jimmy Carter is a man for all seasons. What humanity is SUPPOSED to look and act like. President Carter was serious, well within his rights, when he doubted the legitimacy of the 2016 election.

I’m going to miss my fellow Georgian when that time comes. I grew up not too far from Plains, Georgia. He’s always been on the right side of history in my state during the Civil Rights movement. When it is his time, as we say in the black church, his works SPEAKS for him. 👏🏾👏🏾

A man of the people, a man for the people. He was not driven by ego but by a sincere desire to do good for the country and for mankind.

We lose this man after a very full life in which he gave all and then some. I am going to cry when the time comes, but it will not be in mourning for the loss of this great man as much as it will be in mourning for America's failure to fully appreciate him
