Most people start their vehicle and join the road without even observing any oncoming vehicle! Two wheelers, especially! Go.. Go.. Go.. is their anthem!

Two wheeler is 100% at fault. But assuming everyone on the road is an idiot my first step will be to drive slow, not more than 20 kmph and keep close watch on the sides. Normal that when such narrow lane having so many vehicles parked, many will try to merge into the road. Also here maybe rather than swerve it would have bee better to come to complete stop.

Yes, stopping on our side of the road is preferable

This regularly happens... A two wheeler entering road doesn't see for road's traffic before joining road

-> after spotting the flying chipkali sudden jump onto the road?... massive immediate braking trying to keep the car in the same lane. swerving adds more risk as we saw in this example. -> before the flying chipkali sudden jump onto the road?... calculating high probability of flying chipkali jumping onto the road, so reducing speed to half or lesser

Car driver at fault. He is not mentally conditioned for "stray dogs" cutting in. And the urge to overtake instead of using the brakes. It was not a 100 kmph for any braking instability.

He entered the road & went almost to the opposite lane. Took up all that space without remorse. This is exactly how 2 wheeler riders enter a road, merge into a new lane, overtake, without even considering incoming traffic already on the road. Zero brain activity.

Car should have used horn profusely. While that is not the best way to drive.. in India considering such idiot bikers. That is the only preemptive thing you can do.

Lesson for red shirt two wheeler - 👉 Always look behind & pick a safe gap to merge. If any speeding vehicle is coming in, let it pass first. 👉 Lesson for Alto driver. Do not swerve around. Be at a speed where you can stop straight after braking. 👉 Lesson for the crashed biker - When you see a build-up, take it as a red flag, slow down. Strap your helmet. #RoadSafety
