Am I reading this right? Dancing on Nexus is now a bannable offense...? Fun/Playful/Hype stuff like this is literally the Soul of Summoners Rift. Eroding away at the Soul of LoL is so short-sighted, you lose infinite memorable moments like this clip with this type of thinking.

Also just realised it's very ironic that this clip is literally @Trick2g, @Yassuo, ect given the recent events. Feels like so many pointless own-goals by Riot recently.

Literally so many pro-games I have seen in which teams fountain dive for Pentakills rather than ending, or similar such plays. Would love to hear from @RiotAuberaun how this is supposedly permissible but we hold SoloQ players to a higher standard...?

@ShadowsWrldz You can do whatevs you want with a group since you're on the same page, in SoloQ you're fundamentally agreeing to play to win the game when you queue up. Spirit of it is for someone hard griefing and refusing to win, like I mentioned definitely should not have been applied here

@ShadowsWrldz Your wording is "Standing in front of 1HP Nexus and dancing". In Riot's eyes this qualifies as "hard griefing"...? For the past decade+ people have been dancing in front of Nexus as lighthearted fun with minimal issue. I really think Riot's efforts should be placed elsewhere.

where do you draw the line between "fun/playful" stuff and actual griefing and what justification do you use to draw it, it's telling you use a clip where despite dancing trick manages to end the game there

i dont think you should be forced to literally take whatever option ends the game the fastest at all times, where do you draw the line? is it ok if i dance a few inches away from the nexus? at inhib? tier 3? just because im dancing at nexus doesn't mean i dont want to win.

my last 2 ranked games I lost because my team refused to hit the nexus and died with 1 minute timers. Yes, dancing on the nexus and refusing to hit it should be a bannable offense I do not give a fuck.

In the summoners code it says if you make anyone’s experience unpleasant then they can ban you and anyone can find anything unpleasant so dancing on the nexus is on the table. L riot
