And this is how Silent King Szarekh looks like when he is finished and fully assembled. This is a custom made sculpture by Edgar Skomorowski and was hand painted by me using only acrylic paints and a brush. Green OSL objects are painted using acrylic fluorescent paints. All tutorials about painting this model are available on my patreon. Painting him took me a lot of time 😅 #necron #necrons #warhammer40000

Some behind the scenes footage of the creation of my most recent AR sculpture, the 28th Metaphyla specimen, The Iris. This piece is inspired by insidious AI, manipulative algorithms, screen addiction and biomimicry. Entirely hand sculpted in VR, 3D printed, hand painted then augmented with an embedded touch screen which displays hypnotic animated appendages.
