Looks like you have to use the entire sausage roll once you open it. Otherwise the open end will be messy to deal with until it dries up and then you have to make a bigger mess removing the dried end to get at whats left… if the rest hasn’t dried up too.

Exactly what is it, what brand? Looks very similar to BASF NP-1 product, I use a lot of that and it's amazing stuff! It says that it cures faster if you spritz it with water, which I've never done, and it still holds up for many years up on industrial roofs in the Sun. I have had to use it in the rain a few times and see no difference in durability. Comes in many colors, find it at your local brick and stone supplier.
