Amazing what a little deregulation can do

What was deregulated that lead to this boom (no snark/genuinely curious).

lots of little stuff, mainly at the state level (but starting with Carter dereg of homebrewing at the federal)

The large beer companies have subsidized this by being largely terrible.

We've had an unusual explosion of meaderies here in western Canada over the past few years. Not sure what's caused it, but I'm not complaining.

why is this good?

sadly New Jersey blocks all innovation in this space at a cost of $10s billions to food services manufacturing retail housing business downstream If NJ opened up it would explode as 10,000s of restaurants/providers would serve, add taxes shift from NYC & Philly growth/investment
North Carolina could still use some fixing... And we still need some sports gambling, dammit.

@HumanProgress And they all serve exclusively rifts of IPAs, and some type of coffee stout. Luckily those are my favorites. 😂

changing those laws was responsible for generating about 399% of the GDP of San Diego County it would be a very different place without that deregulatory environment

Great now instead of 1500 brews that taste like crap we have 10,000
