@andrewsharp Andrew, you’re a great podcaster but you got pwned by Ben. I hate Amazon too but the FTC case is very weak.

@benthompson I’m so glad @andrewsharp doesn’t run the world. No respect for rule of law, just opinions and feelings

You can't bring a knife to a gun fight, @andrewsharp. 😂 Perhaps there exists a progressive re-interpretation of current antitrust laws that doesn't rely on consumer harm. But you didn't make the case for it. You deserve much credit for the attempt. But you need to offer a coherent new theory of antitrust that we can get behind, if you want to avoid the woodshed in future episodes. Good on you, and I hope you take your game to the next level in future episodes! Love your podcast!

Economies that enable entrepreneurism are built on a rule of law. Andrew’s proposal for vaguely defined, broadly drafted laws is the antithesis of this. That uncertainty leads to less innovation and higher cost defeating the very competition that Andrew claims to seek.

For some reason I don’t see the usual episode chapters in today’s episode (Apple Podcasts) @andrewsharp @benthompson

The net is that, over and over, Andrew really struggles to accept the difference between controlling supply and controlling demand, and that the two are very different.
