i always feel like the started in the garage thing is a bit misleading... he got $250,000 k from his dad to start it, garage is probably just for convenience, if i needed a bit office to work at all the time right now at my house?

Let’s not act like Jeff Bezos was poor and funded his business with pennies and the last of his paycheck every two weeks. He had parents that had serious money and they blessed him. Most people don’t have that. PERIOD. Let’s keep things in perspective.

a bit like Jack Ma's first office in Alibaba. But Jack started with a lot of others and each of them became multi millionnaires. Maybe that is the cultural difference, east and west, right there. Prosperity should be shared

Incredible to see how far Amazon has come from its humble beginnings. Truly a testament to innovation and determination.
