At the speed these packers are moving, there's no way one can replace 24 workers.

The open border fallacy is not about cheap labour, it is all about votes

Wait till they solder microchips, assemble cars and flip burgers. Where are the jobs for anyone including migrants?

It’s ok Soon they will need a big maintenance team for those Actually better pay for people

Remember, people, the beauty of capitalism is that you vote with your dollars. By purchasing products on Amazon, this is what you are voting for. Vote for companies that align with your personal values.

@TheTechAnonGuy The video here didn’t show a packer. The packer robots are the most sophisticated and the most challenging to get right … and are still a work in progress. Amazon still has humans along side packer robots because many items still require humans to pack.

@TicTocTick I wonder if there will one day be a robot DEI to make sure the old robots get taken care of

You’re telling me they spent a little under a trillion dollar on robots?

Wait… so a full-time human packer position only costs the company $21K per year? So Amazon pays below the poverty line for a small family? Can someone confirm?

I'm guessing you've never had the "privilege" of working at Amazon as a "packer" or any other retail driven facility.. The video #CLEARLY shows the #Pace of its abilities, which even if it ran/runs for 24 hours straight, would #NEVER hit the "target" of 1 #HOUR! #UseYourHead
