This FedEx delivery driver on camera just tossing down a huge package onto the ground. My question is- Why? Not all delivery drivers are bad but it’s the few like this that give the industry a bad name. One FedEx driver said “I deliver the packages like they were my own.” Another said he suggested the homeowner send the video to FedEx. Have you ever caught your delivery driver throwing your package? Out of the three, who do you have more faith in when it comes to deliveries- UPS, FedEx or Amazon?

If you're an Amazon India customer, take 2 mins to read this if your money is dear to you. TLDR version, Amazon delivery partners are literally scamming customers. And Amazon India will do nothing to help you in this situation. Kiss your money goodbye! I raised this concern on social media a few days back, for a product (Levi's jeans) which was marked as delivered but I never received it. Their customer support team, did some investigation and came to the conclusion that the product was indeed delivered. Hence, they cannot do anything more to assist me in this situation (refer image) This was not a OTP based delivery, and neither does Amazon mention the name of the person who received the product on their app/website. If it was OTP based delivery, I would know someone has given the OTP so delivery has happened. With a name, at least I would know if there's any person with that name in the house. Now, I have absolutely no way to confirm if Amazon genuinely delivered the product. Except video camera evidence. So I went to see the CCTV footage of the day and time the product was marked as delivered. In the CCTV footage, I see something very strange. The Amazon delivery partner arrives at my place, gets off the bike, takes out the product and for the next couple of mins just keeps doing something on his phone. He doesn't call me, or at least I don't have any call record of calls at that time. In the meanwhile, another person walking out closes the door. That person is not me, neither works for me and neither known to me. Likely associated with a neighbour/tenant and I have no such instructions for my Amazon account for deliveries to be left with anyone else. One minute later the Amazon delivery partner decides to leave (see screenshot). The delivery partner doesn't even enter the house and just leaves after a couple of mins. Without even entering the house, Amazon successfully delivered the product! Wow! And if the delivery partner handed the product to any random person walking out of the house, is that the customer's problem? Was this a very expensive product? No, not at all. So why am I spending all this time to write this? 1. I just want to spread awareness to everyone out there who might be getting scammed by such malpractices from Amazon / delivery partners. 2. If Amazon claims a product is delivered, you can't do nothing about it. Irrespective of whether the product was actually delivered or not. Your money is gone, poof! 3. It should be the company's responsibility to prove that a product was successfully delivered but in India it seems anyone can walk over their customers. 4. I'm shocked that a customer has to go to these lengths to uncover such scams in India 5. If ordering on Amazon, I will always select cash on delivery as the default going forward Amazon India - Do not contact me in hope that I will delete this tweet or evidence now! PS: Video doesn't have the date/time stamp as aspect ratio has been cropped. Will only share that with company officials if someone from Amazon wants to see it. Or with consumer courts if I decide to pursue this further, definitely not worth my time for now. But in the US, I would have definitely filed a lawsuit for millions.

If it does, the government should set a minimum delivery charge that the customer directly pays for the delivery partners. This GOFO delivery driver delivered a package a few weeks ago to this lady’s house. She threw the package marked fragile up on the porch. The woman who ordered it reported the driver and had to have a replacement sent. Well, the replacement arrived. And, you guessed it, delivered by the same woman and thrown the same way up on the porch. This delivery was handled like the first one and now she is waiting for the replacement to the replacement for the original package. 🤯 I had never heard of GOFO before. They are a smaller, growing delivery company that handles deliveries sometimes for Temu and other sites. You deliver once like this, maybe it’s an accident or oversight? You do it twice and it’s not an accident. 💯 How do these delivery drivers get hired? Is there that big of a shortage that they just hire anyone? What happened to hiring people with experience or training them correctly? Isn’t life getting exhausting?

Could you imagine delivering a new refrigerator by yourself on a dolly. You arrive at the home, you are pulling it along a sloped walkway while trying to avoid cars in the garage and in the driveway. The customer acts like she’s guiding you where to go because your visibility is limited. She failed to mention the concrete leading to the garage has an uneven ridge and in a blink of an eye the fridge comes smashing onto the ground. Was it the delivery man’s job for doing it alone and not using a strap for the dolly, or did the homeowner set him up for failure?

A Flipkart delivery agent, Bharat Kumar, was reported missing on 26 September by a Flipkart representative Adarsh Koshtha in PS Chinhat... The movement of the delivery agent, his last location, the number of orders delivered, and the number of orders yet to be delivered, were found to be suspicious. We asked the company to provide us with his details... We started investigating and questioning people. We brought in Akash Sharma and when he was seriously questioned, he said that he and his friend Gajanan Sharma ordered phones from their other friend Himanshu's phone. They ordered two phones, one Vivo V40 Pro and one Google Pixel 7 Pro. The total cost of the two phones was Rs 90000 which were ordered on Cash on Delivery... They decided to keep the two phones without paying the amount to the delivery boy. They lured the delivery agent into their house and strangled him with a laptop charger. They stuffed his body in the Flipkart bag and dumped it into a canal. Akash Sharma has been arrested and confessed to the crime. The two phones which were ordered have also been recovered... Efforts are on to search for the dead body. We are in constant touch with NDRF, SDRF, and local divers... The delivery agent's motorbike has been recovered..." (01.10)

Big news concerning operational changes at Giga Texas including a push for more public venues & options for direct vehicle delivery from the factory. A few key highlights: Customer direct vehicle deliveries have already been happening at a small level from Giga Texas for a few months ... this also includes the 1st fully autonomous delivery across Austin A new customer direct delivery center (essentially a sales center) is being added on the N end of the W End-of-Line (EOL) facility ... this will be open to the public & will be used for customers who opt for this instead of autonomous delivery to their house Customers will be able to take delivery & complete all paperwork to take possession of their new car at this location New road access is currently being added on the NW corner of the out bound lot, & the N-S road that connects to Tesla Road on the N & River Road on the S will allow customer access to this location This recent decision changed the original plans for a new Welcome Center near Tesla Road ... it will now be constructed in the large plot of land just N of the EOL & use the new public road access as well Discussions continue about the potential second Boring Company tunnel for Model Y transit from the factory to the EOL facility. This debate is ongoing, but I think we will see a tunnel at some point.
