Amb. John Bolton: US🇺🇸 interference in foreign elections DOES NOT help the United States ‘I don’t think it basically helps the United States to interfere in truly democratic elections. Trump himself proved that he was so antipathetic towards Justin Trudeau and his party and Canada that he helped Trudeau’s... show more

@RT_com Why is this war criminal still walking tge streets and not in prison?

In a July 2022 CNN interview with Jake Tapper, Bolton said he had “helped plan coups d’état—not here but … other places,” and later cited the unsuccessful 2019 effort to remove Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro.

Why anyone gives the HYPOCRITE the time of day is beyond me.

Wrong. Tariffs and reciprocal trade measures have been a core, durable part of Trump’s economic agenda for years, far more consistent than any particular preference for one foreign leader over another. A Canadian prime minister who responds forcefully (as Carney has done with “dollar-for-dollar” retaliation, public defiance, and efforts to diversify away from the U.S.) supplies a clear narrative of an unfair or uncooperative partner. That framing makes tariffs easier to defend domestically than they would be against a more conciliatory or low-profile government. I don't agree with Trump's policy, but it is what it is. Bolton is playing checkers and Trump is playing chess. It's why Trump is POTUS and Bolton is on the sidelines with a revoked security clearance.

War criminal and a bloody warmongering imbecile. This is a ugly and rotten human being!

there are no truely democratic elections anywhere on this planet

so WHY did he spent him time lobbing for interference?

He gets it almost right, but for all the wrong reasons. Lack of self-awareness must be a prerequisite to be in government these days.

![John Bolton: Trump’s dismantling of USAID has been a BIG MISTAKE, it will be REPLACED one way or the other ‘I was an official of USAID in the early Reagan administration. [It] marked the first time I visited India, in fact, in 1982 or ’83. The dismantlement of USAID by the Trump administration has been a big mistake. Ultimately, it’s going to be replaced one way or the other. During at least my tenure as national security advisor, I thought we had excellent relations with India. We worked closely together on handling an Indian response to an act of terrorism committed across the border from Pakistan. That was appreciated at the time. I thought back then Modi and Trump had gotten off to a good relationship, marred perhaps only by the fact that Modi shook Trump’s hand so hard that it left him gasping, which shows how strong Mr Modi really is.’ -Ambassador John Bolton, Donald Trump’s former National Security Advisor, on the latest episode of New Order. ![John Bolton: BRICS is composed of countries with FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT core interests ‘[Bolsonaro’s son winning] would result in a pretty significant change in Brazil’s policy, but what I’m referring to is not changes of administrations at the top, but fundamental interest. BRICS itself is composed of countries whose basic interests are contrary to one another. Certainly, in the case of Brazil and Russia, they’re energy exporters, as opposed to India and China, which are energy importers. They’ve got different approaches and different priorities. That’s what drives national policy, and ultimately that’s what will prevail.’ -Ambassador John Bolton, Donald Trump’s former National Security Advisor, on the latest episode of New Order.
