The 40-minute display blasted off from 50 positions in the nation's capital, including off of 8 barges in the Potomac River, lighting up the sky at a rate of over 350 fireworks per second. 80th Independence Day Celebrations at JCP Attari Parade Arena The 80th Independence Day celebrations at Attari, Amritsar, were held with great fervour and patriotic spirit, with DG BSF Shri Praveen Kumar, IPS, as the Chief Guest. The celebrations commenced with the inauguration of a giant LED screen displaying the image of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, adding a solemn and inspiring dimension to the occasion. A vibrant tapestry of India’s diversity and unity unfolded through cultural programmes representing different regions of the country. The performances beautifully showcased India’s rich cultural heritage and the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat. Nearly 60,000 spectators from different parts of the country filled the JCP stadium and the campus, transforming the venue into a sea of patriotism, enthusiasm and national pride. BSF personnel from various training institutions showcased their exceptional skills through special sporting events and performances, reflecting their discipline, determination and physical prowess. The BSF Motorcycle Daredevil Team Janbaz and Seema Bhavani and Canine Squad presented a meticulously orchestrated display of precision, discipline and fearless skill, leaving the audience spellbound. The jubilant parade further raised the tempo and infused the gathering with unmatched josh, creating an electrifying atmosphere befitting the celebration of 80 years of India’s Independence. The Director General appreciated the outstanding performances by all the participating teams and applauded the organisers for conducting such a grand and spectacular show, which brought together thousands of citizens in a celebration of India’s unity, diversity and indomitable spirit.

The perfect fusion of 2 worlds. Our global art platform CAST Studio enabled us to create a unique “world record” show centered around one of the world’s most famous landmarks, the Burj Al Arab. The integration of the digital world of NFTs, cryptocurrency (CAST Studio) with the world’s largest golden artwork (The famous Castello Cube) and a never-before-realized drone show. All assets combined at an extraordinary location, has created a global moment of excitement complementing the Chinese New Year. The year of the Dragon. We, at the Rajasthan Association of North America (RANA), New York, were proud to participate in the celebration of the 79th Independence Day Parade in Manhattan, New York City ,the largest parade outside India, organized by the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA – NY, NJ, CT, NE). This year marked the 43rd annual parade, and we were honored to represent our vibrant heritage. As part of the celebrations, RANA showcased Rajasthan’s world-renowned tourist destinations, including Umaid Bhawan Palace (UNESCO’s No. 1 heritage property), Mehrangarh Fort of Jodhpur, Jaipur’s iconic Hawa Mahal, and other treasures ,highlighting our initiative of celebrating 2025 as Rajasthan Tourism Year. We also proudly presented the work of Jaipur Foot USA’s parent organization, Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS) the world’s largest organization for the differently-abled (Divyang). A poster displayed on our float illustrated that, since its inception in 1975 by Padmabhushan D. R. Mehta Saab BMVSS has benefited over 2.4 million people and conducted 114 international camps ( that includes 33 international camps by Randhir Jaiswal with the best wishes of HPM Narendra Modi SIR ) in 44 countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. This year’s parade was especially memorable, as August 6th was proclaimed “RANA Day” by the NYC administration. A special poster showcasing this proclamation and our gratitude was prominently displayed on RANA’s first float in the last 25 years since our inception. I extend my heartfelt thanks to FIA for the honor of being part of the Pooja Archana, coconut breaking ceremony, and for giving me the opportunity to pull the ropes of the Jagannath Chariot ( considered highly auspicious) with Binaya Pradhan and other distinguished guests.
