Today's generation has no idea that their grandparents had Contessa, Jeep, Ambassador, Standard Herald and Premier Padmini to choose between. And their grandfather used to tilt the Bajaj Scooter cause engine has no other way to receive petrol from fuel pump.

We owned one for 37 years. An incredible vehicle in every which way. Although the lack of power steering back in the day really tested the driver 😀 If it ever gets relaunched in the Indian market, I’m buying. And so will many, many others I guess

I heard last year that Grand Old Ambassador is coming in a new avatar very soon. May be an electric one. Or it’s the Tata Curvv.e ??

Drove one for many years. My Dad's company provided one. Then bought a second hand Honda Civic from New Delhi.
