I'm surprised that it took this long, but 15 minutes into STARFLEET ACADEMY, we're hit with the line: "separating children from their parents isn't exceptional, it's reprehensible." THE FIRST 15 MINUTES: A white mother who was tricked/forced into piracy as the only means of feeding her diverse son (um... replicators?) is sentenced to a Federation Rehabilitation center after being complicit in a theft that led to the death of a Starfleet officer (ostensibly someone's son), and she and her young son are separated. Holly Hunter so believed that it was wrong to take the woman's son from her because she was really a victim of the white male pirate who lied to her, tricking her into a life of crime, that she "left Star Fleet in disgrace."

Watching that interview was like watching someone audition for ‘Britain’s Biggest Victim.’ No remorse, no humility, not a shred of genuine regret, just endless self-pity and excuses. She’s not the victim here, no matter how hard she tries to sell it. She needs to just spend some time with her daughter, and stop this ridiculous crusade.

She had every warning label handed to her in advance and still walked into the situation like it was a rumor, not a reference check. Her friend straight up gave her the disclosure statement. She heard it, filed it under "surely that's an exaggeration," and moved in anyway. Honestly, that's the most human part. We've all had a moment where we heard something concerning about a person and thought "I'm sure it's not that bad," only to become a firsthand witness to the fact that it was, in fact, exactly that bad. Nothing like independently verifying a hygiene rumor to really recalibrate your whole relationship timeline. So the real question is: was the almost-marriage called off because of the discovery itself, or because he found out that she found out and just kept going anyway? 😭

The liuliang actors and actresses have their own filming vans. The filming vans will enter the production site and in the vans, there are beds, sofas and even bathrooms. They'll have to continue filming and will enjoy such benefits. But for one to still not be able to withstand all of these under such great conditions, how pressurising it must have been? She was sent to the hospital and thus we saw these photos, including those that show her not being able to breathe. I heard that, she even had to withstand being intubated with oxygen for a period of time too, and that the drama team didn't release her until she became paralysed. It was only until she could not walk that they sent her to the hospital. So can you see how cruel it is of them? After she was sent to the hospital, everybody was wondering if she would be better after she rested but no, her loss of speech was as a result of the dissociative conversion disorder. We're not psychiatrists so we only could guess that it was as a result of the stress on her and her physical health condition...
