These Sheriffs make over 200k a year, they are the ones that take the cut. They are not worth that much. Also the politicians in the county’s and cities should be responsible and fund the sheriffs department and the Fire Departments before all these stupid feel good projects.

This amendment requires counties and municipalities to use property taxes solely for public safety, education and schools, infrastructure, natural resources, bond debt service, retirement benefits for employees, and operations and administration.
