@spencerpratt @firechiefanf NGO's line up by the dozen to sue the USFS. It's a cottage industry. FS puts forward a project, not-for-profit-corporations line up, file suit with a friendly judge like, Molloy. Molloy always rules that they should be paid $100,000's of dollars for attorney fees and damages.

@spencerpratt @firechiefanf I took this in the Castle Mountains the other day. Lodge Pole Pine, the tree that caused Yellowstone to burn to the ground. Yellowstone looked the exact same way before 1986-miles & miles of downed timber & this was just one little portion of one small forest. LOG IT!!!

@spencerpratt @firechiefanf Sorry, Tim. There are simply too many idiots posing as "environmentalists" in California. California leadership can't even fill their firefighting reservoirs. The Santa Ynez reservoir is STILL EMPTY. Fire season is coming...

@spencerpratt @firechiefanf This guy is spot on!! It's a travesty that this keeps happening. Liberal environmentalists are responsible for our forests not being protected. Just sickening.

@spencerpratt @firechiefanf Not only are there massive fires because of mismanagement of the forests, schools lost 25 percent of the receipts from Forest Service sales. Schools suffered.

@spencerpratt @firechiefanf We're at a point in this country, if we don't pay politicians off to protect human life, they will take pay offs from lobbyist NGOs to jeapordize it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@spencerpratt @firechiefanf Trump / Sheehy Administration Failure. Prescribed burns in Montana were reduced by 63.3% in 2025 versus 2024. 2024 acres 239,112; 2025 a mere 87,845. US Dept of Agriculture staffing reduced 16%, with fully 24% of firefighting positions remaining unfilled during fire season.

@spencerpratt @firechiefanf It’s almost like we should have listened to Al Gore twenty years ago and fucking done something about the climate crisis when that was still an option.

@spencerpratt @firechiefanf I grew up in the logging capital of the world. Environmentalists shut the industry down for the spotted owl. Years later, the spotted owl wasn't endangered because of logging.

@spencerpratt @firechiefanf Hey Timothy, do you think that the hottest July on record, coupled with the warmest winter on record might have something to do with this fire season’s severe nature? If i recall, 0 acres of USFS land was burned in the Spokane fires.

@spencerpratt @firechiefanf And you will find 85% man made fires, we still need to address this with surveillance and harsh punishment. 🇺🇸

Yeah, you’re nailing it brother. Some of these save the Earth freaks need to watch some George Carlin. And believe me we were given these resources for a reason. The Earth has been around for so long the Earth can save itself. We’re the ones that are fucking up the natural order of things.

@spencerpratt @firechiefanf This is also a water supply issue. Responsible headwaters management improves both water supply and water quality.

I am all for wild fire management but clear cutting is also not the solution in Montana. People needto actually be held accountable for the devastating losses of wildfires. I lived in Wolf Creek saw a cigarette thrown out the car window and the roadside brush INSTANTLY Ignited . I called 911 immediately, had there not been anyone at the Wolf Creek fire department we would have lost that whole little town. Yes More preventive maintenance management for wildfires has to occur. Many haven't had to prep for wildfire evacuation and their house and buildings sprayed with retardant and it shows. Keep up the good work Hot Shot! much appreciated.

@spencerpratt @firechiefanf Maybe we should also stop that garbage being sprayed in our skies. It’s drying everything out. If you don’t you’ll need to change the Montanas name from Big Sky Country to Big Haze Burn Zone. Wake up, look up, and speak up.

@spencerpratt @firechiefanf I have seen more smoke come out of politicians than the forest , for almost 30 years I have been beating my head against the Gov for change ....Nothing...finaly sold everything and through in the towel , no more logging, sawing , building or helping stop forest fires

@spencerpratt @firechiefanf Look no further than the total ineptitude of the USFS for "management" practices that guarantee cataclysmic fires AND USFS fighting practices that burn as many or more acres than the fires and guarantee a minor fire will become major.

@spencerpratt @firechiefanf The US forest products industry is operating at only 71% of its mill production capacity because demand for lumber is very low. Prices for lumber are down 6.8% year over year. There is inadequate demand to expand more harvesting of forests for wood products. Need more burns.
