Important question! Were those chesses at room temperature? Cheese is always better at room temperature imo (or at least out of the fridge 10-15 mins before eating).

Awwww hope she stays with you. M&S do really amazing cheese boards (sometimes i swear its laced with craque co-----). Really affordable too.

Sad to see no Stilton or Wokey Hole! Snowdonia wasn't too expensive in Canada at least, so may be worth trying to get there.
