The designs on those buildings remind me of European baroque architecture.

History is a lie

The Indian tent narrative was super important at that time bc it supported the claim of wide open planes & no communities. When in fact all of the plantations in the south east were built by Cherokee. This is why I did so poorly in school bc it never made sense.

Before technology destroyed the mind.

Look into Salt Lake City, church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, temple.. it took 40 years to build in the desert.. but it was done. They built a whole city around it.. (in a coupke years this buikdibg will be open ti the publuc agsin.. go see it) it was artisans that came over from Europe who had been learning the same techniques and handed down through generations.. the tabernacle there needed a large roof and open building.. a shipbuilder was brought in, the top of the tabernacle is a ship bottom! Ogden Utah has beautiful buildings like this too and there are before and after photos.. the valley of Salt Lake City had no big buildings when pioneers came. Unfortunately our school system has lost these artisan abilities, we do not do programs where youth learn trades handed down from masters. our architecture sucks now!

The woman featured here's name is Michelle Gibson, for anyone wondering.

I've questioned this. Because to build the skyscrapers we would of had to build the cranes first. That had to take time. But first the steel factories, but first the planning, but first finding the ore. All done in a couple hundred years?
