As a teen back in the swinging 60s on a trip to London; you went to Harrods just to get one of their green bags. So you would buy something like a pen or notepad, the cheapest thing you could buy, just to walk out with one of those famous green bags!

We went to HA-RODS food hall, we had a fig and buratta salad (£23.45) and a Stilton pork pie (£9). We took it back to our Travelodge and ate it on the bed and it was honestly worth every single penny.
