American citizen finally has had enough and called ICE, she even filled out the requested form She went to McDonalds, the screen was broke So after trying multiple times to communicate with the worker through the drive through she finally understands the worker doesn’t speak a word of English She asks for the manager, the manager doesn’t speak a word of English, so she asks for anyone in the building that can speak English Not a single person working knew a word of English All she was trying to do was help them and let them know their screen was broken, “So yeah, I called ICE and I filled out a form too.” “All these little fast food joints. They've got all these people working in them. These franchises during COVID. They brought their people over here on these work visas and they don't understand a lick of motherf*cking English All them jobs like McDonald's and all that, that's where our youth used to work at. There are 872,000 people in Australia who are here on a permanent basis who either speak no English at all or very little English. How has this been allowed to happen? No one should be given the right to stay in our country on a permanent basis if they do not have a good command of English. How can we hope to live in an integrated, cohesive society if people are able to settle here on a permanent basis without speaking English? Under One Nation, under no circumstances will you be able to settle here if you are not fluent in English.

This Lyft driver was watching a show on her phone with earbuds in her ears while driving this mother and daughter. When the mother asked her if she was watching a show the driver told her she was just listening to it. When she informed her that it is against the law to drive with earbuds (it is the driver turned it around on her and started yelling at her saying that when passengers listen to or watch videos it is distracting and dangerous to the driver. She pulled over and made them get out. Lyft responded to the mother and daughter. “We're so sorry to hear what happened during this ride and can't imagine how you're both feeling. We're working with our safety team to review this further and will have someone reach out to you asap.” The mother and daughter also called the police. Do you think the daughter was in the right calling the Lyft driver out like that or do you think she overreacted? Don’t think Lyft should fire the driver?
