American shows that instead of lowering prices before food goes bad or donating to the homeless, Dollar General just throws bags of chips and other items in the dumpster She says PetSmart does the same thing with pet food “We're at Dollar General again, and the dumpster is packed with chips. Good ones too — Then the other day we got this brand new dog crate from PetSmart. Two huge bags of dog food, bag of cat food, some dog treats, and a bunch of other stuff. I got like a cat litter switcher out thing, automatic cat litter”

This woman is going through a rough patch, to make ends meet she decided to go to the food bank. While unloading their bags of food that they were given, she makes snide remarks about how she’s a vegetarian and doesn’t like how they have her meat. In fact she complained the whole time about how they gave her food she normally wouldn’t get for herself and complained about why she didn’t get fresh fruit or vegetables. Someone needs to remind her that this isn’t a grocery store, they give you what they can so that you aren’t hungry. Should they have taken in consideration that she’s a vegetarian or is she just being ungrateful?

This woman said as soon as she walked in, there she was, a beautiful poodle being surrendered to the shelter. This is no place for any dog. She said the dog was confused and scared. She didn’t know what was going on. Can you imagine what was going through that beautiful dog’s mind watching her owner walk away from her? Why couldn’t they seek to re-home her instead of dropping her at a shelter? Did you know Poodles are considered one of the top breeds because they are so smart, have a great temperament and how quick they learn? Wouldn’t you be honored to own a dog like this? This beautiful? I would. Why do people continue to do this? 💔

This dog owner says she did not practice this with her dog. She said she thought it would be interesting to see what she did if she asked her to do a fairly complex task. She even poked her head out so that she’s in the shot. 🤯 She’s like “okay I’m waiting for my picture!”😂 She is so smart! German Shepherds, dogs in general, are incredible. ❤️

This #MothersDay , a mother dog reminded us what courage looks like. She gave birth to her puppies inside a manufacturing plant surrounded by heavy machines and constant danger. Instead of throwing them out or ignoring them, the company chose compassion. They gave the mother and her babies shelter, food, safety and care. Humanity still exists where kindness is chosen over cruelty. Happy Mother’s Day to every #mother — human and animal.

This woman was in line at a local fast food restaurant. She just found out an earlier car before her paid it forward and paid for her food. So she wanted to pay for the car behind her. The car behind her ordered over $50 worth of food and she didn’t have enough to cover that so she ended up paying for the car behind them that was only $11. So she ended up paying $11 for the car two cars back. People are saying she broke the etiquette for paying it forward because she was supposed to pay the one behind her. Was she wrong for cheating out?

Round1 Bowling & Arcade are in many malls in America Most people find what they put in some of their claw machines very dystopian. They have things like baby wipes, zip lock bags, sponges, food and other household items This has caused a lot of outrage online by ‘gamifying’ essentially items The real reason for this is items like plush toys, anime figures and licensed merch are more expensive to stock and replace. Cheaper bulk items that are dollar-store style like wipes, bags and snacks reduce overhead while keeping machines filled and playable

This time of year you may find foxes coming into your garden, trying to take the food you've put out for the hedgehogs. Mid March is peak baby birthing time for foxes, so right now these new mums are feeding lots of little mouths, so are extra hungry. And the dads are desperately looking for food to take home to mums who can't yet leave the den and their new cubs. So please be patient with them. They won't harm the hedgehogs, they just need food. A raw egg in its shell makes an easy takeaway meal for them. And dog or cat food, wet or dry, or dog treats, will give them the extra nutrition and calories they need. Use a heavy dish, or pin it down (as shown in the video below) as they will try to steal it. I always imagine them thinking, "This dish is magic! It refills with food every night. If take it home I'll never have to go out looking for food again!" 😊

🚨 FDA TELLS CONSUMERS TO DESTROY PRINGLES, CHEERIOS & SKITTLES - RODENT & BIRD CONTAMINATION FOUND IN SUPPLY CHAIN Nearly 2,000 products were recalled after inspectors found rodent and bird contamination at a distribution facility. This includes: • Cheerios, Skittles, Pringles • Pet food like Purina Dog Chow + Purina Cat Chow • OTC meds like Advil, Benadryl, Claritin The FDA says do NOT return them and says to destroy them immediately. These are everyday foods fed to children and pet food poured into bowls daily without a second thought. Possible salmonella exposure, the kind of bacteria linked to severe stomach illness, dehydration, and hospitalizations, especially in kids and animals. Seriously, what the hell is happening to the American food supply?

This woman reserved a ride with Lyft. When the driver showed up, he pointed to her service dog and said no, and took off. She says this happens all the time and his vest clearly says “service dog”. She suffers from seizures and has to have the dog with her at all times. Many pointed out that there is an option to select that you have an animal and someone from Lyft who picks up animals will take the reservation. But, it does cost more. But others pointed out that her dog is not a pet, it’s a service animal and by law, they cannot refuse the ride. Some stated that they would refuse the ride too because she didn’t let them know she had a dog and some drivers may have a fear of dogs or be allergic to them. So what’s the solution? Should she sue them for violating the ADA act? Should she pay more for an animal allowed ride and if so, why does she have to pay more? What would you do if you were her and, if you were the driver who didn’t want a dog in your car?

Is this regular playing between cat and dog? My cat and family dog have been playing more regularly now and it seems like they are both having fun but my cat seems to be biting him a lot while playing. Dog’s tail is wagging the whole time, cat’s tail isn’t poofy, no growling, hissing, or whimpering from either. Does this look like anything I should be worried about?

This former grocery store worker shares what she learned on the job, she says we actually have more than enough food to feed everyone, but feeding people isn’t as profitable as selling it. She explains “shrink” — all the damaged, expired, overstocked, or “ugly” produce that stores throw away instead of discounting or donating — and how they write it off as a tax loss while locking dumpsters or even destroying perfectly edible food. I don’t know if we truly have enough to feed everyone like she says, but I do know for a fact that grocery stores operate exactly the way she describes. My boyfriend is a butcher at our local store, and this is precisely what happens there. I’ve even asked him if he could bring home some of the bones they throw in the garbage, and he told me it’s not allowed. Have you ever seen this kind of food waste at your local grocery store, or heard similar stories from someone who works there?

My neighbor always walks the dog at all hours of the day, rain or shine. She has a huge dog she can’t control, it actually walks her most of the time. This guy here has no excuse letting his dog on a leash get away, that thing is tiny. Yet he thinks it’s the man’s fault that his dog got nudged. What would you do if your neighbors dog got loose and they blamed your dog reacting to it, he needs to get his dog under control and get a life. Anyways, the neighbor with the big dog was walking her dog and it got away from her and ran into the street. Another neighbor was coming home from work and didn’t have time to react to it, she ended up hitting the dog causing a good amount of damage to her car and scuffing up the dog pretty good. The lady walking her dog had a fit of course and blamed the neighbor for hitting her dog. The neighbor retorted that she wouldn’t have hit it if the lady had it under control and isn’t run into the street. The lady ended up calling the cops, the cops came and cleared the neighbor of wrong doing. There were plenty of witnesses that saw it and we all see the dog pulling her all the time anyways. After the accident we didn’t see the lady walking her dog much anymore, her oldest son would do it most of the time to his annoyance but it was a better thing, he could control it where as his mother could not. I didn’t want to involve myself in their argument but I did tell the lady it was her fault, and that she needs to pay for the other neighbors car. Up until that point she was refusing to cooperate much. I never did ask if she paid but I have a feeling she did, the neighbor can be quite convincing when she needs to be.

Here is my beautiful American Akita Kona. Experts will say do not buy this dog as your first pet, I did. Here’s what I’ve learned these past two years. She will absolutely kill anyone or anything that comes near my home. She’s extremely loyal and loving. She is insanely strong and agile. She’s extremely intelligent but very stubborn. Like a crazy girlfriend, if you piss her off and don’t show enough attention, she’s going to Amber Heard on your rug. The best choice I ever made was selecting an American Akita. If you’re looking for a dog to protect your family, and Home look no further. A pitbull got loose and ran into my yard when I had her out there for a walk. she jumped in front of me and hit the dog once. I never seen a pitbull run so fast.

credit Martin Miller When a dog is surrendered to The City of Mobile Animal Services, after their person leaves they will sit and wait for that door to open again and go home, sadly that’s very rarely the case. So it’s up to the team to distract them with toy and treats to take their mind off things. This is our girl Miss Elliot and she is the sweetest girl on earth. She is amazing with dogs, loves people and passed her cat test.
