I’m pretty sure this one’s on you, not the GOP … Obamacare (which Democrats are the proud parent of) has been an utter failure since its inception. It hasn’t made healthcare more affordable (which it promised to do - $2500 cheaper for families - remember that?!?) and it hasn’t made health outcomes better for Americans. Healthcare is more expensive than ever with folks having coverage that’s unusable because deductibles are so damn high AND we’re generally unhealthy by every metric! Americans want you to FIX healthcare, not continue to fund a perpetually failing program with another bandaid subsidy (which goes directly to private health insurers like @UHC, NOT the people) for the umpteenth time. 🤔 The 200 million Americans on non-ACA, non-subsidized, employer-backed plans have seen their premiums double, triple, or even quadruple since ObamaCare passed and moreover nearly every plan available nowadays has a crippling high deductible, rendering “coverage” virtually unusable. Meanwhile, not a peep about this travesty in 15 years! The obvious question is why did you wait until this moment to try to iron out these issues? Obamacare has been a failure for 15 years! All on board knew the temporary subsidies would be expiring at the end of this year THREE YEARS AGO, yet here we are. More ObamaCare is not an acceptable solution.
