This has once again reminded me of how "salad" is such a vague concept. For all intents and purposes that is a salad. It just doesn't at all fit the mental image most of our brains conjure when we hear the word. And hey, let's not forget these yummy aspic salads from yesteryear:)

This isn't a salad like leafy green salad, it's "egg salad" and we serve it as a side dish or put it on a sandwich. Basically an american Egg and Cress sandwich.
