He unveiled a plan he says is in the works to expand I-9 worksite inspections as part of the White House’s immigration enforcement strategy. The Border Czar said he wants to create a centralized system using contractors to conduct large-scale I-9 audits. The goal would be for contractors to identify potential administrative and criminal violations, then refer those cases to Homeland Security Investigations allowing HSI agents to spend more time on criminal investigations and enforcement operations.

Eisenhower” Heritage Foundation ran the numbers “Eisenhower's operation cut the illegal alien population by about 31% in its first year. Even using a liberal estimate, 2025 would only see about a 4% reduction” “But there is a way to achieve the promised results - First, the Trump administration should remove prioritization limits. Focusing primarily on the worst of the worst only removes a small fraction of deportable aliens. DHS should fully implement President Trump's Executive Order 14159 and mandate enforcement against all deportable aliens. - Second, dramatically increase worksite enforcement. Worksite enforcement is essential for achieving truly large numbers of deportations. The one big beautiful bill granted $45 billion for immigration law enforcement. Those resources need to go towards maximum apprehension and deportation. Everything, from cultural cohesion, jobs and wages, and community safety to housing shortages, overwhelmed hospitals, and overcrowded schools will improve dramatically if the massive population of illegal aliens imposed on Americans is returned to their home countries.
