💯This is unacceptable.💯 These kids are on a major beltway with no adult in sight. School administrators and teachers should be held accountable and disciplined for putting their students at risk of danger.

CTU has protected schools from cuts, protected jobs, fought for more resources, and smaller class sizes. We won a transformative contract that puts our students first. Updating CTU dues strengthens member services, expands union capacity, and positions us to fight back amid rising authoritarianism. It also helps fund a statewide campaign to tax the rich and win real revenue for our schools. Join members like Kat who are voting YES on equitable dues.

There's no better place to celebrate Freedom 250 than at a national park! Visited Rocky Mountain National Park earlier this year, where the work of National Park Service staff and investments from President Donald J. Trump' Great American Outdoors Act are delivering WORLD CLASS visitor experiences!

BLM Brandon is correct that he reduced class sizes. With schools like Douglass Academy having a capacity of 912 students but only an enrollment of 35 that really reduces class size. Nevermind the per pupil spend is more than $68,000/yr. As to that "living wage" for teachers, Chicago's are the highest paid in the nation (adjusted for cost of living) but, hey, they're mostly women so they and their salaries are beyond reproach.

More layoffs are headed for Las Vegas as nightlife, clubs and beach clubs begin to face financial trouble. Drais Beachclub and Dayclub will be closing and reducing operations to a much smaller “After Hours” party operation, leaving much of their staff without jobs. Rumors of changes at other major resorts leave the future of big nightclubs in limbo. #vegas #lasvegas #vegasstarfish #vegasnews #travel

Harrowing footage of a Chinese fishing boat's crew battling surging seawater after a collision with a massive cargo ship in the busy Singapore Strait. Despite the dramatic impact and the smaller vessel taking on water, both ships survived, and no injuries were reported. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.

SHOULD STUDENTS BE PUNISHED FOR WALKOUTS?? TAKE A LOOK AT A RECENT WALKOUT IN THIS VIDEO AND EXPRESS IF THIS IS WHAT THEY SHOULD BE LEAVING CLASS FOR… The bell rings, but instead of heading to class, hundreds of students stand up, grab their backpacks, and walk straight out the front doors chanting in protest of ICE policies. Classrooms sit half empty as students gather outside holding signs, saying they are standing up for illegal families and demanding change. Is it civic engagement in action or pure disruption. Administrators are left balancing free expression with attendance policies, while parents and teachers are divided over whether this is activism or misconduct. Should students face discipline for walking out of school? If so…how harsh should the discipline be?
