Ronald Ryan - you might not know that name - but he was the last man hanged in Australia back in 1967. But 56 years on, judicial executions are still happening in many parts of the world. 883 people were executed across 20 countries last year. 65 % only in Iran! #MajidKazemi

More than 1,000 people have been executed in Iran so far this year - the highest since 1989. UN member states must urgently speak up and demand that the Iranian authorities immediately halt all executions.

I honored the memory of the victims in New York at the site of the horrific terrorist attack that took place 25 years ago. A tragedy that had a profound impact on everyone around the world. Nearly 3,000 people were killed in the terrorists’ attack. They were citizens of 90 countries, and our people were among them as well. A vile and horrific terrorist attack that claimed the lives of innocent people. And we will never accept such vileness from terrorists. We will always remember those who fight terror and those who have fallen victim to it. May all those who lost their lives rest in peace.

When the Islamic Republic of Iran shot down Flight PS752, it cut short the lives of 176 innocent people – people who were loved and who are missed every day. It is for them, and for their families, that we continue to be relentless in our pursuit of justice.

Host: 25 years ago, measles were declared eliminated in the US. But of course, that was before vaccine denier RFK Jr. became the Health Secretary. Now, measles cases are surging for the second time this year. 84 new measles cases were reported nationwide in just the past week alone.

A Call to the International Community to Save Prisoners Facing Execution in Iran- Members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization—Mohammad Taghavi, Akbar Daneshvar Kar, Babak Alipour, and Pouya Qobadi—who were executed on March 30 and 31, were condemned for one “crime”: declaring that the path to freedom and liberation for Iran and its people lies in the overthrow of the clerical regime and the establishment of a democratic republic, and for steadfastly standing by this rightful demand of the Iranian people. Undoubtedly, the brilliant path of these martyrs will be carried forward by ranks of young people joining the resistance units and the army of freedom. I urge the international community to convene a special session of the United Nations to address the series of executions in Iran and to take immediate, concrete measures to save the lives of political prisoners and activists who are at risk of execution.

Unemployment in the UK has risen to its highest for almost five years. The rate of unemployment went up to 5.2% in the last quarter of 2025. The Office for National Statistics said more people out of work were now actively looking for jobs - while wage growth has also fallen back. Ministers said almost 400,000 people were now in work compared to this time last year - but they admitted there was "more to do".

US Senator: "American soldiers are returning from the war with Iran in coffins." John Asaaf: "Some Americans are returning from overseas in coffins, draped with flags. In the past two weeks, nearly 100 people have been injured in the war with Iran, and at least four have died in a war that we were drawn into through lies. Last year, we were told that the nuclear threat had been eliminated. Then, in the second week, we were told that the enemy had been destroyed. Again and again, we were told that we had won, that we were on the verge of victory... We are constantly told that this will only last a few days, a few weeks. But all this incompetence is costing lives, and it is also taking a heavy economic toll on families across the country who are struggling with uncontrolled tariffs and gasoline prices."

"That number is now accumulating to impact the largest US stocks by about eighteen percent a year." "Over fifty percent of Google's profits in this last quarter alone were tied directly to the price appreciation of its investment in Anthropic. People are putting a multiple on those gains. I mean, these are one-time gains." Mike Green on the impact of passive flows vs. fundamentals on the big tech stocks.
