Another cop misusing Pennsylvania vs Mimms. Which states that an officer is allowed to ask you to exit the vehicle due to traffic concerns. Since she's sitting at a gas pump and there is no traffic then Pennsylvania vs Mimms doesn't apply.

This officer needed to go. What a POS. You could tell the girl was terrified most likely never pulled over before or most likely never been in trouble. I'll give her credit because even when the officer was being a jerk to her, she was still very respectful in how she was speaking to him.

You can’t really use Pennsylvania v Mimmz as a precursor to have her exit the vehicle. There was clearly no officer safety issues but, it’s a broad ruling that will ultimately protect the officer. What got him in trouble, was the amount of force used. Passive resistance from a 100lb girl, doesn’t warrant a slam to the ground!

Notice at the 6:17 mark of the video that the arresting officer tells the dad that his daughter was “assisted out of the vehicle”. At the 0:26 mark of the same video, he tells the other officer a very different version of the same event. That’s probably what got him fired, yes?
